I live in northern BC we had a 3 wekk long cold spell of -40 below without the wind.
Now Its really warm...
But the windchill here usually gets into the -50s (celsius btw0

Well you just went to your car, try walking against the wind for 7-8 minutes at a decent speed (so I don't get late) stand in the cold for 8-9 minutes then walk back.

When I got home, my coat was cracking on it's on, like making cracking sounds and my sweater had frost on it (it wasen't even damp or anything).

Oh ****! Sounds like old man winter is nipping at you personally ha ha ha! Well I don't know, I used to play ball hockey in jogging pants running shoes shirt/sweater pair of crappy gloves and a hat all winter every Saturday and yeah it got bad when it was -30 but only because if I under dress I'll be freezing and sweating and if I overdress it'll be hard to play and over sweat :P


Edit: Wind chill makes everything worse though, if it's just -30 to -40 without much wind, that's nothing though. Just the wind is impossible to avoid, especially the Montreal residents walking in the city, the wind picks up like crazy and it's horrible down there

I only wear hoodies. Almost everyday so when it's this cold I feel it. Lol.

Yeah I wonder why we do that here in Canada. It's cold as f*ck, and we walk out in running shoes and a sweater like it's fall or something.

I'm used to it. I have been in worse.
But I love the -40 temperatures except when I have to walk to school.

i feel for you EnR but you have no idea... Ottawa is the same tempature (with the windchill) but the puplic transportation is on strike. i have to walk 3 times farther to get to class, then walk back at night when its even colder.

Ended up getting a ride to school by Eric's dad. His suspension was frozen on his 06-07 F250. Also, there was pure fog or something, we couldn;t even see 50 feet infront of us.

It was probably frozen fog, which is stupidly dangerous. It can easily reduce visibilities to zero.

Stay safe Canadians, but in the meantime, I'll be enjoying my day time high of 84 (~28 or 29 C), rofl. (Yes, it's winter.)

There's a high of 68 degrees here in Florida today. I love it when the weather is like this here. It's cool enough to sit out in the warm sun and not get all nasty and sweaty.

A bit cold, but not really hard.

Seriously, damn. I'm used to living in EXTREMELY warm/hot weather so the winter is really annoying here in Virginia for me cause I'm still not used to it, even after living 6 years here. I guess I'll HAVE to get used to it cause I'm planning on going to college in Minneapolis and it's sure as hell much more colder up there.

This morning it was about 28°F (-2°C) and I was wearing capris, thin ankle-high socks, pink tanktop underneath a black graphic tee, a heavy leather coat and the scarf I got for Christmas and I was FREEZING to death waiting for my early bird teacher to get to school. I was shivering so bad, it was terrible. Thank God though that I left my thermal clothes in my gym locker cause I went there ASAP after my teacher got to school and put them on.

I'm definitely a huge wuss, but I can't wait for spring. Hands down, the best weather because it's not too cold and not too hot in the spring. :]

I live in NFLD, and I just spent 2 hours shovelling all the snow from a 4 hour snowstorm this morning.

yesterday i was outside for 15 min and it was 32 F. my legs and face went numb. i dont do well in cold weather at all.
