I was with the rush that found out about it on addictinggames.com. Signed up a few months later I believe.

That's EXACTLY how I found FFR and joined.

I can't really remember, but here's my best:

I started playing a rhythm-based flash game on some website. It got me interested in similar games. After some searching I found this website. I played for a few months and then I quit when I was getting frustrated with how slow my progress was. I only thought to play with one hand at the time. Some months later I came back and learned about the spread playing style. Yeah that's it

I found it just when I was in school about 2 years ago, when somebody mentioned it to me. I signed up about a month later or so, I believe, and I played for a year actively. Now I play SM mostly, but I still participate here on the forums.

I tried it once because a guy who was in my old BF1942 clan played it and loved it. Me, not so much at the time.

Then I learned about the goodness that is cornandbeans. One day I googled his name, and FFR came up, and I said "hey if cornandbeans is on FFR it must be fun." I played about 500 rounds of {Losing Touch} as a guest before I was able to pass it, and then I joined.

I can guarantee my answer is the same as everyone else still around who signed up within a 2 month period as I did (i.e. I know Jurs signed up same way I did) but through Addictinggames.com or w/e the site was called...

Myself personally, it was my best friend's bday and he fell asleep on me like a nerd at a party, so I stayed up and a new hot link popped up on the website, and lo and behoild it was FFR and it was magic ever since

my brother, jump_the_bullet, told me to sign up, so i did. i mostly played the game and MP with him at first, but then I discovered the forums, then JTB told me about TWG and it's been awesomeness ever since.

Some girl in my Computer Keyboarding class in middle school was playing it and I thought it looked fun so I tried it. Me and my friend sat there through the whole class playing it and we were terrible. Never thought I'd get better.
