but seriously nubbin you haven't been on the site as long as most people, which is why most staff or members don't notice you. I think you need to stop taking yourself for granted.

Not so much this as he needs to prove himself to them BY staying. They will see and respect that. Respect is something that is earned over time in circumstances such as these and you really should push through it and earn that respect. Over time, you will be more appreciated and even the staff will be glad to extend a hand of happiness and gratitude to you.
