some of both. i haven't tried heroic... but challenging wasn't EASY. it wasn't hard though.
from what i've heard, heroic is a decent bit harder than challenging, and having to do it from each class would be very time consuming. plus each class plays completely differently from the others.
there are actually a ton of different class builds you can go with, and even have to go with for different fights at the heroic level.
I used to play kong like crazy, but when I found FFR I quit kong. OR I thought I did. Whenever I read from this thread I go back. Sonny 2 is here! w00t
Edit: It seems that all my Pyro and epic war 2 progress was deleted.
nothing happens... as evidenced by the Meat Boy Map Pack imp badge issue. Kong set the badge at 36 band-aids, when there were only 35 possible in the game. AKA, anyone who got the badge cheated. perfect time to set an example against those who cheated (myself and many other well known users included)... yet they did nothing.
In all honesty though, cleaning out hacked scores would be hellish. It can be hard to tell which scores were achieved legitimately and which were hacked without knowing the details of each game. You'd really only be able to eliminate the obvious hacked scores (the 9.298u983blahblahblah sort of numbers). I think Kong doesn't care too much about hacked scores because it would cost money to hire someone to do such meticulous, grinding work, and it doesn't really provide much savings. People are still going to play, come to the site for badges, etc. Hacked scores are just one of those "Damn it to hell!" sort of things that are an inconvenience, but not something that would keep you from continuing to play. They could probably get people to volunteer, but the problem there is that you're starting to give some fairly heavy access to the Kong API, which may be a security issue for some. I really don't know.
Snafu tower defense is kind of fun. It's pretty basic in terms of what towers you need. The last few maps are kind of fun because you start with an okay amount of money, but not enough to start a maze, so you have to work your way into building a maze as the money comes along.
On this one, I got kind of raped early-on by some medium-armored guys because they don't really have a weakness and are fast. There were a few spots on the ground-level I could have filled in, as well as put a tower on each platform. But it didn't matter and I didn't really care for score. xD
