Well because my 1.4 run was purely trying to get the highest possible misscount to pass with, so far I'm at 96 with highest misses

              Re: SM Scores

If those values are correct, then Patashu is as well. The life bar total can be regarded as the net change. As implied (for one end) by Patashu, no matter what size your bounds are, a life bar total equal to or less than -0.5 means that the life bar had to have dropped below 0 at least once.

However, in StepMania the life bar is bounded at 0 and 1, respective switches for "song failed" and "cease incrementation". In other words, you don't get any "bonus" life when your bar is full, but the instant it's depleted, you fail the song. Thus, it's entirely possible to have a theoretical life bar total of any magnitude above -0.5 but still fail the song (e.g. on a large wall of arrows after a normal section).

Therefore, Dossar's total of -0.044 means he could have passed, but the number alone is not a certain indicator of whether or not he did. You would have to make a judgment based on the structure of the stepfile. On the other hand, Blue's score of -2.244 means that regardless of the distribution of boos, misses, etc., there is no way he could have passed on regular life settings (provided, once again, that LifeDelta is indeed the function to which the life bar is linked).

                        stepmania math haha
anyways the life delta for blue's bp 1.2 is 1.584, but according to ieat's explanation and the structure of bp itself, it's entirely possible for blue to pass that on life 4 so
dont worry blue youre still cool :>

                        also ieat's op fc wow
