I was playing RB with my Gaytar Hero Guitar And the Whammy Bar ****ing broke and cut open my hand in the middle of a song.

How the hell did you do that?
Did you pull up on it as hard as you can or something?

Whammy bars will break out of nowhere for no explained reason. Mine broke in the middle of a song when I wasn't even using it.

I heard a cracking noise then discovered whammy bar go byebye.

Ok, well, I made this short-lived thread about Guitar Hero Metallica coming out soon, only to discover that you had to post in THIS thread about ALL Guitar Hero games, even though there's a separate thread for Guitar Hero World Tour.

Oh well, it doesn't really matter. Here's what I said. I might as well discuss it in here.

All right!!! I can't believe this!!!

The game will consist of 60% of the songs by Metallica and 40% by other good bands. The game is fully compatible with all features of GH World Tour, including the studio mode. There are also new features, such as:

Expert Plus Mode for drumming
Metallifacts Trivia
Drum Fill Mode Cheat (You can play along to any song and use Metallica drum sounds without having to hit on the right beats)

There are even more exclusive features for hardcore Metallica fans.

There are also new sounds in the Studio for all instruments.

The game is set to come out sometime early in 2009, although the release date has not been confirmed yet.

I can't wait!!!

So yeah, pretty awesome game, even by expansion pack standards.

I hope GH:M doesn't focus too much on their really heavy stuff because all their ultra-thrashy stuff sounds the same. Plus, the drums would all be blast beats with slightly different bass patterns.

It looks like a lot of the non-Metallica songs are going to be stuff they covered on Garage Inc. (Turn the Page and Tuesday's Gone are confirmed). Hopefully this doesn't rule out including Garage Inc. stuff because that's one of my favorite Metallica albums.

Seems like this will have a pretty nice tracklist. For some reason I always wanted Queen in a GH game.

I got World Tour today.

Solo F can go die in a ditch. This took about an hour and 15 mins from my first play (which I failed at 75%) to 5 star.
