I didn't actually vote for penis, I type in an irregular fashion, I don't use my ring finger to type. I mean, maybe I do...now that I am conscious of how I am typing I'm really slow and sloppy...dammit.

I use thumb for space bar and index a middle (sometimes middle) for every other key. Which is probably the reason I type so slow.

I use everything except my thumbs, I've always hit the space bar with my left or right index finger, depending on what key I hit last so I can alternate. =x Also I use my left pinky for left shift and my right pinky for return.

I would say penis, but, you know, I don't have one. So instead I go with index and pointer for text and spcae, and random uses of the pinkies.

I'm a proficient typist. I use all fingers, no thumbs.

One summer, years and years ago, I decided to teach myself to touch-type. By the end of summer I could.

At this point in time I can do 100+ words per minute if I'm just typing something from a page or copying something, with the rare mistake. If I'm thinking of what I'm typing then I stick to around 80-90 words per minute.

I use all fingers to an extent. Thumbs for space bar always. Pinkies for shift keys. Right ring for back space. I don't think I ever use my middle finger. It's mostly just index.

I only use the first three fingers on both hands.... I find it faster and more proficient than any other way. It was a good way to aggrivate the keyboarding teacher in high school.
