It's hard to figure out because at first it seems unfair that Nima is better than almost everyone at just about every category. Meaning if we started one for mines, he would be the best. If we started one for MA, he would be the best, and so on. But then it seems unfair that just because he's really good that he can't be in more than one category.

wait wait... the only thing w/ mines he does better than me is damn trills and jacks... as far as I've seen... in terms of combo breakers I don't see HIM FC'ing Doll, Xenoflow, Genocide, Cold Breath, Potato, I Hate Jimmy Page, etc (hell, even RTPR haven't seen him FC)... or getting one CB on Speedcore Dandy (which linus tells me is my best one still)...

I am of course ignoring the fact that his MA/PA pwns mine no matter which mods you add on, but that's a given... I'm pretty sure I pwn his CB's on mines generally speaking... w/ the exceptions of trills + jacks of course...

well, it's hard to tell what to compare on... I may be biased, but my reasoning was that since your MA/PA skill somewhat carries over, that's not a very good judge of comparison on who deals with mines best... by getting a lot more CB's than you would usually get, it shows inability to cope with the mines as easily...

lol also, if you compare my mines scores with my non-mines scores, the gap is not nearly as large as the gap in scores for you IMO... for example, some of my mines scores still beat the non-mines scores of other people at my skill level, whereas I'm pretty sure almost all of yours suck compared to Reach's non-mines scores XD...

of course who am I to tell >_<

EDIT: on a side-note I think playing on mines has been helping my accuracy some... for example I can now SDG/FC XenoFlow V2 almost every time now w/o mines... dunno... I think it's because of how focusing on accuracy when on mines helps a LOT when trying to not hit them on hard parts... *shrug* w/e... it might just be because it got me off playing hidden for most songs so I can actually work on accuracy...

Some guy who is good with mines shouldn't be better than a guy who isn't. Like, let's say guy #1 gets 40 perfs on NGCBD oni. Then, guy #2 plays it with mines and gets 40 perfs. Who's better? Guy #1. Why? Because Stepmania is about hitting arrows, not about not hitting arrows. And Guy #1 technically hit more arrows than Guy #2 because mines were substituted for some notes.

sry but that is up to debate... look at it this way... which is HARDER TO DO huh? getting a good score w/o mines, or getting an identical score w/ them? and besides... I'm not comparing my mines scores directly against other ppl's non-mines scores... but that said, it is still harder to get a mines score than a non-mines score (with a few exceptions)... so if I can for example, FC doll w/ mines on, I would MUCH rather compare that to whatever scores other ppl can get ALSO while playing on mines...

you can also compare it to playing with different styles... for example if a one hander can AA Speedcore Dandy and a 4-finger/2-handed player can also AA it... The One hander's accomplishment is CERTAINLY much more impressive than the 4-finger player... because compared to other one handers, that score is insane whereas compared to 4-finger players it's only so-so... so who's the more skilled player here?!?

EDIT: and also, playing on mines STILL keeps the game about hitting arrows... you only have the added difficulty that you cannot press on certain spots... do you remember FFR?!?!? don't see YOU complaining about THAT... and ITG... another game which you can have the added difficulty of having to not hit certain spots...
