*Listened to most of them on youtube. A big pile of emo and super lame rock crap, the underoath song is the only one I like and it sounds like it'll have a kickass drum chart.

I know most of the bands they picked, but the only song I outright know is Prequel To The Sequel, which assuming they do the entire song, is going to be an amazing guitar chart.

I've heard of three of those bands, but nothing that I really listen to. However, I had never heard of The Mother Hips before, and Red Tandy turned out to be a gem; I'd never heard of Locksley and all of their songs were awesome, so I'm pretty open-minded for these songs.

Plus they're free.

Enough to make it completely unreasonable to keep 20 horrid songs on your hard drive.

I'll listen to the songs sometime on YouTube, and if I like some of them, I'll download the ones I like. I highly doubt I'll take a liking to any of them, though... I've only heard of the bands The Cab and Thenewno2 and the only reason why I know those bands is because of Rock Band.

I'm listening through some of the 20 free DLC. Sounds like lots of decent but generic powerpop-type stuff. Lots of short songs. Prequel to the Sequel was great until the dude opened his mouth. I Wanna Be Your Man is freakin' awesome.

OK now I've stopped... too much generic. Most of it sounds decent for RB, and at least they're mostly short songs (meaning they're to the point without a bunch of boring filler. I like long songs as long as they have lots of content and just not the same crap for 3284329 verses.) It's just nothing special.
