Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: The Best Game of Halo Played

I've been here this long and you guys still don't understand I use exaggerations to drive home points? Geez.

My computer is pretty damn good. 512 ram, 2.1 GHz, and a fairly good video card. Up until the recent wave of PC games, I've been able to run them fine at top everything. It cost me about $1000 to build this thing.

I guess all I'm really trying to get at is that I find it silly to bash other systems, or be a PC game nazi. I own every console system and have a pretty good computer, so I guess it doesn't bother me when an exclusive comes out for a system. I've just never seen the point of saying "OMG XBAWX SUXORZ, NINTENDO 4 LIEF". Fanboyishness of any kind, whether it be towards the PC claiming that console gaming is inferior, or a system fanboy thinking the one and only system they own is 1000x better than everyone else's, is silly.

I also got a fat heatsink so my computer is like ice in the summertime (it gets really hot in Las Vegas, overheating is a problem), a DVD/CD-RW drive, 40 gig HD, a brand new case, speakers, 4 extra USB ports, a wireless router network card, and a 17" monitor.

So it already had the USB ports in it, or just the space for it? I could probably install more USB ports, but meh. I only need the 6 I've got (2 frontside, 4 backside).

here is how it works, when you suck at halo/halo 2 you tend to not like it because you never win or you dont have the brains to figure out useful strategys to win... when you are good at the game and know good tips on what to use (like plasma pistol and battle rifle is excellent combo, can kill in 1 second if you hit with plasma bolt then switch to battle rifle and head shot) so for those of you who say it suck, go get good at it then say it sucks
ummmm.... would you mind dieing please?

                  lol uh huh okay man

I know for a fact that unless you bought it-
                  A: Used
B: Some incredible discount, like 50% off
C: Or everything you have is generic and crappy, like an OC'd Celeron and an integrated video card

That's BS. Plain and simple. You simply can't get that. I want a full list of specs and exact price before I believe anything you say.

Compared to a lot of other FPS games, it is, simply because of how movement works. Games like Unreal Tournament require little strategy as opposed to skill, because you move so quickly and can dodge like you only can in UT. In general, the quicker your person moves on screen, the less strategy required and more skill needed.

Not that FPS games ever really require much strategy.

Halo doesn't require strategy. Something like Ghost Recon, for instance, might be said to have strategy, because you have to learn when to move slow. Only NS and anything along that lines has any real strategy, and even then you can go in and run around shooting and your team might win. Like you said, FPS games don't really ever require much strategy. What they require is good teamwork.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O
