I've known about Supernova for quite a while, yet never once have I used it.

Ah well. If I ever do actually want to get Windows XP or Photoshop I'm sure there are other sites out there.

On a side note, Boxtorrents is still up, which besides animesuki is the only mass torrent site I really care about.

Suprnova.org has everything, from cd cracks to uber-expensive programs. They don't have much porn (heck, kazaa=porn). But what most people are going there for are PC games and anime episodes. Heck, they had the Metal Gear demo STOLEN FROM E3 THIS YEAR (if you haven't heard of it, some smart person took the CD behind a PS2 booth).

Hmm... I have not heard anything about the government's action behind this. I thought it was just a simple website problem, just like every time the site temporarily goes down.

I can't find any decent torrent sites.

BTW the trick (type *.torrent on your search engine in Windows / MAC, pressing F3) doesn't work. Simply because the torrents themselves are gone. So good riddance to any unfinished torrent from suprnova.org. For a while I thought this would work, but no.

piracy of software/tv/movies etc is not a violation of free speech Zild, and once more you prove your idiocy by thinking as such. its a copyright protection violation... aka, against the law. so, yea... the government is going to pay money to stop it which forces people to buy it themselves, thereby spending money, sparking the economy and at the same time, providing tax money back to said government.

1st ammendment rights. HA. aww... that gave me a damn good laugh.

but, to the important matters.... losing bittorrent is a big loss. i use it all the time for movies and tv shows. as i don't watch anime, i could care less about that. also, never DLed any games or software... and, luckily for me, i know other torrent sites that specialize in tv shows, movies, and porn.

for whoever said that suprnova had little porn... that is incorrect. THEY HAD NO PORN. didn't allow it on their site. there are other sites for it though. google is your friend.
