People in general are idiots. Why go shopping on the single busiest day of the year when you could go a couple weeks later when they get a new shipment of stuff and it's not crowded at all? Is the only reason to wait in a 100 person line the incredible sales?

      Dinnerroll, shut up.

      Sales on Black Friday rule.

I got a 100 pack of CD-Rs for ZERO DOLLARS. Actually, I got four.

I went to Circuit City since Best Buy was going to be crowded (and it was...3-hour line times) and they had nothing I wanted. We collectively got a Radeon 9800 (cousin), 4 100-pack CD-Rs, 50-pack DVD+Rs, about a billion DVDs, and some random other stuff.

I bought 4 Gamecube games today and spent less than $100 collectively.

You see, irony is a beautiful thing.

Anywho, we aren't into going to big sale rushes like that. My whole family has a general habit of being late and sleeping in, so we'd never make it before the crowds. I think my parents went a few years back and got us some Christmas presents, but that's the only time I can think of where any of us dragged our lazy asses out to shop.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Worked a closing shift. Wasn't too bad until my back started hurting and I didn't get a break, despite being promised one. =(

Some guy thought he'd be funny and ask me for some edible lotion for his friend... but he came off looking retarded. "They sell it at Spencer's, you know?" "So... why don't you go buy it at Spencer's?"

            Haven't done any shopping. *cry*

I got to Best Buy around 6:20 and picked up everything I wanted...but the line weaved all around the aisles and down the main aisles [the rectangular path around the store]. Yeah, it was packed. So, I decided to leave since my friends were with me who didn't want to buy anything there. Eh. Anyway Circuit City was better and I just got a 512mb memory stick for 50 bucks. Bah..I wanted the 24 season 1 dvd so bad. Lastly, I got Doom 3 for 20 bucks...at wal mart cuz they're stupid and price matched.

I would have taken some friends and gone to Best Buy or Circuit City or something and had fun waiting in line (and annoying the other line waiters with our idle banter).

But I had to work yesterday, and I figured it would be a hideous shift, so I wanted to be rested up for it.

Luckily it was an afternoon shift. Which meant that all of the doorbuster sales were already over by the time I started, so it wasn't that busy. Actually, it wasn't really busy at all, at least compared to Green Friday last year.

What's the difference between Black Friday and Green Friday? ...or are they the same thing?
