wow!! i really love the beginner tier....AAA CHALLENGING SONGS!!!!!! BS....I know peeps in the advanced tier who weren't able to AAA Challenging songs.....w/e

When I started this tourney I was lucky if I could AAA a difficult song.
But since I've been playing so much and trying hard to AAA the round's song, I improved so so much since the beginning.
I'm sure a lot of people have improved from this tourney. :]

Yeah, I've definitely improved during the tournament too. Before I started my best AAA was a 5, and now I have done a handful of Challenging songs. (No VCs yet though :P)

Beginner is now and always has been almost entirely a division about improvement rate. Whoever can improve the fastest wins.

It's now 1-2 months after the tourney started, and it's possible for someone to go from never playing FFR to AAA'ing 9's in that time for sure.

well actually first i need to find a way to keep my keyboard in the optimal position since from 400-800 i shift the left side of it back very far and then at 1700 my right hands like ahghghhjk

Yeah, same here. I started off with not even an fc on moonbeam and a very bad PA, and I just AAA'd today. I have screenshots of both, so it's pretty awesome to see my improvement since the start of the tournament.

For that matter, I had 0 tier points at the start of the tournament, and now I have 23, so that's a pretty darn big improvement too. Yay for the official tournament
