Insanely off sync, they took it out.

Well, nearly all of Synthlight's stepfiles are off sync. So what about the others?

Actually they couldn't verify that Synthlight got permission for the song, so to be safe, they took it out.

P.S The file wasn't insanely off-sync - just some parts were.

Now this I agree with. I actually talked with Square Enix. They actually said no one but Square Enix staff can freely publish the music.

However, there were many parts that were off sync.

you can't change the blue arrows, they are done differently than the colored, the colored is from SM editing, blue is from some other wacky program, so even if we had permission, we couldn't have edited the song because of that reason, that's why the Synth files are STILL the way they are instead of someone fixing them.

The blue arrows are actually from older versions of Stepmania, I believe. And putting them on FFR just made them that way.

actually blue is quite easy to fix, but Synth doesn't want to, since it preserves FFR's history to leave them as they are.

as for 0-framers in vrofl, who cares. It's ****ing vrofl. i almost wish I'd thrown in a part where there were 10 arrows in one frame, just for some more rofl factor.

I'm stepping Omnishred by Powerglove. It's a very good metal remix of this song, so hopefully FFR will get some sweet FF7 tunes back in the game shortly.
