Scores in FFR mean nothing to the best players on the boards. Scores in Stepmania are the basis for ranking. Also, ranking is relative to how much you brag about your accomplishments in Stepmania since it proves how awesome you are. Seriously. For the most part, the people who brag a lot really are the best.

Being "the best" depends on what rankings you get on songs. There was a thread about everyones rankings on all the even slightly hard songs(max300 being the easiest upwards to payon being the hardest) in the chit chat forum.

I could brag a lot about something really really shitty, like a B on V or something, and that wouldn't matter.

Depends which one.

The chakrila one, it is hard at the beginning (i.e. first 5 seconds) and easy for the rest of the song.

The beginning of it depends on how fast your keyboard can register singular note presses.

The beginning of the chakrila one racks me up about 5 or more misses and a buttload of goods because of my keyboard.

Now, I could see that grade if you had a lubed laptop-type keyboard, or a lubed REALLY responsive one.

And the song is offbeat by 18 bpm, so that doesn't really help either.

Unless you're talking about Flight of the Bumblebee (Rock Guitar), in that case that wouldn't really matter.

What grade do you get on payon? Check hyro's top 10 thread in the main forum and post your grades on those songs there.

i have beaten most the esay ones,the only hard-ish one i have beat is Final Fantasy 7 boss theme.yup.
