Sorry to say this, but betting like you did, I'm actually surprised you didn't run out of credits earlier. You're too greedy.
Say you have 2m, and you place 20 100k bets.
No matter what order you place them in, if you get 50/50 (which is about how the game ends up over time), you wind up with 1.98m.
You have to go 11/9 EVERY TIME, in order to come out on top with that strategy.
But if you place strategic smaller bets, and still win big on the larger bets:
1.) You can still be up in credits even if you have as low as a 33% win rate.
2.) You reduce your losses, and maximize your profits.
By following (and sticking to) a strategy that works and not being greedy, I'm up 32k since it started.
The instant I tried to be greedy, I lost 15k, and learned my lesson.
I've stuck to the strategy since, and never had a problem.FC's: 440 (1 FGO, 2 FMO, 15 VCh, 57 Ch, All VD and below as of 12/06/08)

A bit of a misnomer, ol' chap! There are no strategic placements of bets -- only strategic placements of streams, you silly billy. All bets are independent events! That mean old 100k isn't gonna feel sorry for your previous loss. If it chooses to be Mr. Mean Rapist Poo Head, it will bend you over in all its cold, glacial apathy. Best you can hope for is that your gains cover your losses! But even with a maximum worst case scenario of a 9-streak loss, this is hard to circumvent. At least take solace in the fact that there are harder things in life *checks pants*.

i dunno. a sign of credits now no longer means you are experienced. it means you gamble, which i have no problem with...but i kinda liked having more than the noobs at all times. now theyre the ones sitting high, especially now with all the new purchased sogns about to be released.Comment
