An absolute maximum of 1000 people could be said to want to get such a shirt. Take away the people in the top 1000 who are no longer active, take away the people who don't want the shirt, take away the people who can't afford the shirt, take away the people who were on the last one and don't want a second one, and you're left with some number I'd suggest is quite a bit smaller than 1000.

But then, since we don't know how many people will want one, how many shirts do you make? Have to make enough to ensure that everyone who wants one can get it, but once they do, any leftover shirts will sit unsold forever. Anybody who would come along later to want one would want a new one made.

You can say that about the current shirt so i don't see your point. Isn't a little less then 1000 people alot of shirts? They wont even sell that many of the current one or the last one. How much exactly does it cost to have a new print? You could just update the shirt every 2 years or something. Or whenever they run out of the previous shirts.

That you can say it about the first shirt is one of the very good reasons why they've said more than once they don't want to do another one.

They could take a poll on the homepage to ask how many people would buy a new top 1000 shirt and then just produce that many. Or a little less then that much.

Honestly... I dont think anywhere near 1,000 people bought the shirt. I didnt buy one and I, as well as mine friend who was on it (Real life friend XD) bought the shirt.

Not only that, its a lot harder to make the top 1,000 now than it was last year. I had like... maybe under 10,000 gameplays last year and made it.

                    Re: FFR Top 1000 t-shirt

it's an awful design of a shirt. plain and simple. apart from the fact it MAY have someone's name on it... it's just dumb.

beyond that, it is uncomfortable to wear it, with the printing on both sides.

that's not even considering the aspects devonin brought up, which are all rehashes of points that i've brought up countless times in past threads.

Yea, the whole "Let's make another Top1000 Shirt" has been brought up and discussed many times. It's not worth it and not happening.

then make it smaller... top 500 or something. Or a top 250. And for the hardcore FFR players: top 100.

The less people who would want it, the worse an idea it is. T-shirts are substantially cheaper in bulk, and printing on t-shirts is substantially cheaper in bulk. The more individual work the printers have to do, the cost just goes up and up.
