I don't like Metallica, I've heard of the game thoughm read about it somewhere.

Metallica have REALLY long songs that are repetive at times.

Some person on youtube just said Rock Band is already making Rock Band 2 and there was some interview with the creator. The person also said there will be a keyboard. Can anyone find this interview? Does anyone know if Rock Band 2 is already in creation? Does anyone know if there will be a keyboard?

RB2 is all but announced. There have been surveys sent out about potential box art and on how consumers would react to different price ranges. There've also been reports such as Bo Diddley's guitar being unlockable in RB2 and songs slated for release in RB2. Everyone is guessing that they'll reveal all at E3.

I dunno about the video you're mentioning, though.

Just because they have the least bit of influence from Metallica doesn't mean that the influence is noteworthy. Listen to a few folk metal bands from Europe for example, particularly Falconer. I wouldn't be surprised if they had not even heard of Metallica.

jesus christ dude just live with the generalization that GH:M is going to have a ****load of metal in it goddamn stop being such a technical douche I doubt if anyone actually would care about Falconer being in any GH game for god's sake I'm sure Activision doesn't give a **** whether the influence is noteworthy they'll be happy to put any band in the game that could possibly get people to pick up the game

Metal from a limited source of musicians and songs, which is the point I'm trying to get across. What makes you think that people only want songs and artists that have been influenced by Metallica?

well people have picked up guitar hero rock the 80s which was horrid, but it sold out the first couple weeks, and now Aerosmith is selling out, people are going be lucky to get it on the first day, even if it was pre-ordered, there are so many metallica fans out there that if they find out it's on guitar hero than BAM you won't find that game for like a month

Why are they still calling themselves GUITAR hero then?

I mean shouldn't it now be called BAND hero or something. They aren't exactly guitar exclusive. I would always get this (or rock band) if they went down in price.

I could find a lot of bands without even trying. Not everyone is influenced by a single band.

Drums look pretty sweet with the symbols, but they should change up how the guitars look. The only guitar they really made that was awesome was the flying V for the PS2. But thats just my opinion.

I'll probably get it...I wanna compare it to Rock Band, and just see which is better. But like TheRapingDragon said, it's not really GUITAR hero now is it? But changing the main name would be dumb...should be interesting though.
