Yes! Well, I'm in the middle of it, but it's pretty good. It's called Girlhearts by Norma Fox Mazer It's sad. Um, you could also read The Incredible Journey, as well. It's a good book. You have had to at least heard of that book. And, you should read John Grisham books! He's good!

i thought i posted in this thread but i guess not.

Vince Flynn writes amazing books. His Mitch Rapp series is about a CIA agent fighting terrorism. Really good books.

You don't have to read his book in order but you'll miss a few things here and there.
Most of his books are a long read(300-600 pages) but once you start, you seriously can't stop reading.

It has 2 sequels out now (A fourth and movie coming soon) I recommend Twilight. I've yet to read the host but I've heard that's a really good one. I also recommend Fatal Burn by Lisa Jackson.

You can read Transall Saga by Gary Pulsen it has a lot of twist and turns and itz really interesting

I don't read often but i believe the last book i read was "the giver" The ending seemed to obvious though. Still cool anyway.

I'm really enjoying the old testiment in the bible currently. Especially the book of Daniel.

Oh, and I'm also reading The Good Earth by Pearl S Buck. So far it's excellent.

Prey by Michael Crichton.

If you're not familiar with Crichton's books, he is a writer who specializes in science-fiction thrillers. He is best known for writing Jurassic Park, if you've read it or seen the film. Prey, I believe, is up there as one of his best works. Definitely check it out if you have time.

I'd prefer if you didn't try to force religious texts on to others. It is up to their discretion if they read something like the bible or not.

Also, I'm reading another of the Discworld series, "The Fifth Elephant". Can't say it's the best one, definitely not as funny as some of the others.

I'm just waiting until my birthday in a couple of weeks because I'm already getting a couple of books from people. I know one of them is The Dice Man which I've wanted to read for ages.

Also getting the 4th and 5th books written by Lian Hearn about the Otori clan as I really enjoyed the original trilogy.

Also maybe going to start looking into some Chuck Palahniuk books as I really enjoyed Fight Club.

I get such entertainment from Michael Crichton novels.

You could always read "The Green Mile" by Stephen King.

Also, to throw this out there, "Keys to the Kingdom" by Garth Nix is a pretty good series. A bit lower reading level, but it has kept me interested. 6/7 books written so far.

Clockwork Orange -- Anthony Burgess (I loved how he invented the slang language)
Foucaults Pendulum -- Umberto Eco (This has been called a Thinking mans davinci code)
1984, Animal Farm -- Orson Welles (Both Short but great...animal farm ~100 pages)
Anything by Tolkien is good Silmarillion or Children of Hurin...but most people get bored of him unless they are into the whole Middle Earth Mythology

I'm currently reading The Stand by Stephen King, but the last book that I finished was a book about Harry Dresden: Wizard For Hire by Jim Butcher, really good.

I had to read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. It's an extremely good book about, pretty much, how gross fast food is
I started it while eating at Burger King lol
