I can't pick two, honestly. Hell, I can barely pick a top 5 half the time, though I think I have a set top 5 at the moment.

Though recently I've been listening to a lot of No-Man as their new album is awesome. So there's 1. Though I doubt No-Man are in my all time top 10 even.

I'll contribute. I'll probably regret saying this since I can't really see myself defining a particular artist as my favourite, but, as of late, Hiromi's Sonicbloom takes the cake.

New album 'Beyond Standard' TBR June 10th. Needless to say, I'm a tad excited.

Angra, which is a Brazilian power metal band and Symphony X, which is a progressive metal band from New Jersey. They're definitely my favorite bands at the time.



Also, even though it doesn't matter, here is a list of rock/metal bands that I like that I already had made. It's not everything, but rock/metal consists of at least 90% of the the music I like anyway.

Symphony X - Awesome. Have you checked out the main singers solo stuff alongside Jorn Lande?

Blind Guardian - Hit and miss
Warmen - Don't like
Norther - Not fussed on
Dream Theater - Recent albums are hit and miss but still an awesome band.
Liquid Tension Experiment - Incredible.
Children of Bodom - Not too fussed on.
Helloween - Only really like the Keeper Of The Seven Keys trilogy.
Skyfire - Never heard.
Edguy - Alright.
Primal Fear - Alright.
Stratovarius - Alright.
Shadow Gallery - Pretty damn awesome.
Ensiferum - One of the best "viking metal" bands, along with Moonsorrow.
In Flames - Don't like.
Iron Maiden - Never really got in to them.
Nightwish - Hate.
Dragonforce - SHREDDDDING POWER OF DRAGONS.
Trivium - Pretty good.
Falconer - Not heard.
Kamelot - Ya, one of my favourite power metal groups.
Dragonland - Not heard.
Dreamtale - Not heard.
Iced Earth - I like them.
Rhapsody - Yeah, still really like them. 16 minute track of black geometry is awesome.
Wintersun - They're alright.

It's really hard to pick just one or two but I'll bear with it and I'll have to say Red Hot Chili Peppers and System of a Down are up there, although I was kinda upset by Mesmerize and Hypnotize were a bit disappointing.

Picking a favorite out of those would be impossible for me.
