for afro, http://youtube.com/watch?v=LNnnXqPkdAQ its really old and both of them are a lot better now, but there is a video that you can learn from, NoJ and korny are very similiar in play style.

Pretty much what I knew has to be done. His aerial game is his focus, and frankly, his ground tactics seem either underdeveloped or he simply makes bad choices occasionally (most noticeably missing chances for down smashes while rolling around).

That and the few times he uses down B, G&W never pulls out the bucket. I think he only pulled out the bucket once, and he didn't catch anything, BECAUSE PIKACHU HADN'T EVEN USED A PROJECTILE. So yeah, I'd say Korny is probably better at beating Pikachu than that G&W player. Maybe not that Pikachu specifically since he's heavy on aerial, light on down B, and a bit unpredictable on his neutral B usage (although there are points where it should be very obvious that Pikachu was going to use neutral B, and G&W just failed to pull out the bucket in that instance).

And oh man, he keeps trying to go head to head with G&W's back aerial. Dumb. And up smash... I can't stand that **** anymore. I think I'd rather do up tilt than smash, but he keeps using it ugh. Oh man, toward the end, he had a perfect opportunity to throw a down smash and **** G&W UP, but he tried to up smash (and missed) instead. Yeah, this guy is amazing at aerial, but he's not anywhere near as good at ground.

But yeah, if that G&W had mastered every aspect of the character, he would have DESTROYED the Pikachu, rather than simply winning by a little bit. He let so many neutral Bs connect with him and SERIOUSLY underused the bucket. Even if he's not that great at the bucket, using it more would motivate the Pikachu player to be a bit more careful, and in doing so, you'd still have less neutral Bs coming your way.

Funny that a number of the top players here use ones which are "low tier". Most notably Samus. Temote is good with Pokemon Trainer and Yoshi. And Shamo0 is surprisingly good with Ganondorf.

Samus is only underrated in brawl because people were expecting her hitboxes to stay the same as in melee. They got smaller, and her sweeping kick got less powerful.

Big deal.

She's still got one of the best ranged asenals in the game, and her ground game isn't weak either (the torch got massivly more powerful). her arieals got a good deal weaker, I wish they woulda kept them the same.

well korny here is what i would like to do. scince you are offering to help the members of the ladder, would you mind terribly if we played a few matches tomorrow with me using Lucas and you can perhaps tell me what i'm doing wrong or right? i'm prolly also gonna ask Manti the same thing except with Samus.

P.S. when i say tomorrow, i guess i technically mean later on today

I don't like using samus because of the way she floats. It's annoying and I just can't get used to it =/

I was also interested in joining the ladder, but I haven't tested out how my Wi-Fi connection is. I'll challenge someone in the coming weeks for sure though.
