Haha lol. I am in the process of creating the image files for a few mentals. I want the mentals to be MEDIOCRE at the least... XD

Re: Funmonkey54 and kjwkjw's un-FFRly Tournament
uh... i JUST beat 6 differences about 5 minutes before checking this thread. there wasn't any notification that new games were posted here, so i had no idea until Commander posted...
but, you can clearly see i beat it today...
re-beat 5 differences (instead of being cheap like Commander and posting a SS showing that i'd beaten it months ago)

Here, now we both wasted 5 or so minutes on a game. :Puh... i JUST beat 6 differences about 5 minutes before checking this thread. there wasn't any notification that new games were posted here, so i had no idea until Commander posted...

I agree, lol. I beat the car game earlier today, and the difference games are fairly easy.
They are very fun games though. My favorite round so far.

Riddle 3 is annoying. I've come up with many solutions, but they are either 1 too short or 1 too many. :P
Edit: Nevermind, solved the 4 one, and I will try the 5 one tomorrow.Last edited by Commandersa1; 05-20-2008, 11:58 PM.

Re: Funmonkey54 and kjwkjw's un-FFRly Tournament
got the 4.... and have a solution for 5, although it involves 10 5s, not 8 5s. got #2... simple.
question about #1... if the total in a column is 4, can i use 2 twice? or can a number only be used once per row/column? it doesn't say in the instructions either way, and i've never done a puzzle like this one before.
edit: found a 2nd way of getting 361 with 10 5s...
edit2: ok... solved #1 under the criteria that no individual grouping of 2/3/4/5 can have more than 1 of a number, but across any 1 full row/column of the puzzle there can be multiple of 1 number. Since in 1 row there is 26 (4) and 22 (3), which is 48 out of 7 numbers... and clearly 9+8+7+6+5+4+3 = 42. this was also very very simple... and there are a ton of potential correct answers under these criteria.
still can't find a solution to the 2nd part of #3 out of only 8 5s. need 10 of them. submitting solutions to kjwkjw.Last edited by Tasselfoot; 05-21-2008, 02:03 AM.RIPComment

Re: Funmonkey54 and kjwkjw's un-FFRly Tournament
hahahaha!!! After finding FOUR different ways of getting to 361 in 10 5s... I finally found the 1 way to get there in 8. Took me until finding my 4th method of 10 to realize the key to it... before that, I was approaching it the same way as the 4s one... or, at least, similarly.
All mentals solved. Max'd another round.
so, will there still be 6 rounds? or will you guys be adding more rounds? would be good to know, since round 6 is coming up next....RIPComment

Re: Funmonkey54 and kjwkjw's un-FFRly Tournament
lol tass i solved the 4s and the 5s in less than 5 mins total...
Its not hard, considering I've done over 10000 of these while in china in primary school (they do this in 3rd grade....)This section intentionally blank.Comment

Re: Funmonkey54 and kjwkjw's un-FFRly Tournament
i'd never done one before. the 4 was simple enough.... the 5 took me a bit longer. still probably 20-30 total minutes spent on both. whatever. max points for the round. 107 points off from max total points in the entire tournament.RIPComment
