also... is the mega quadratic... is it: -10x^(2y) OR -10yx^2? there are 2 cases where i wrote it like the 1st... the other being: x^(2y^2). but looking at it, it likely isn't this case... since in the other case, you'll still only get 1 solution, even though x/y can be reversible in number. i'd suggest using superscript for squares, otherwise what you want us to solve could be misinterpreted.


edit: answer submitted for mental 2 under the assumption that we aren't raising x to the 2y power.

yes. that is how i went and solved it... but, technically, that ISN'T how it's written. i figured i was over-complicating it, so i solved it the simple way for my submitted answer.

i can. but i have a standing rule not to donate... since i have unlimited credits, it isn't fair for me to donate to 1 person's tournament but not anyone else's. so i'd wind up having to donate to every tournament. and that isn't fair either, IMO.

so, my standing rule... i won't donate. but, i also won't take any credits if i win them.
