I still haven't gotten online either.

And now Brawl is back in its case awaiting the day that my friends get back from their colleges because Mario Kart is much more fun than Brawl in Single Player.

Oh so Disaster IS coming out. They didn't abandon it. And they're using their newly-acquired (as of Wii launch, that is) developer Monolith Soft to make the game. You know the people who made Xenosaga.

Slated for a Summer '08 launch.

God, that sounds like "Disaster Report" and "Raw Danger".

Both of which were awful. "Raw Danger" was the first game I reviewed for a game site that I now work for. That game was just... It was one of the worst I've ever played. You get penalized for running in Chapter 1-1. Because you're a waiter. And waiters... Can't run? Oh, also, you get a bonus for helping a lady find her contact lens.

        God, that game succcckkked.

LOL I'm sorry, but the thought of Mal playing a game and complaining makes me laugh heartily.

            Re: The Wii is Here.

I'm a really harsh game critic. The last review I did was for Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts, which was abysmal.

It’s rough on my hands – it shines in the light, and it reflects in an odd manner depending on its relationship to the source of luminescence. One day, perhaps soon in the future, I will finish building my desk and I will use this sandpaper. I can only imagine that afterward, it will lose some of the luster that it has. No doubt, in between the grains of sand will be small pieces of sawdust. I will have a nice, soft, smooth desk, but at what cost? The loss of luster? Would it be madness to take this piece of art, this piece of sandpaper, and put it to use, destroying the beauty?

Perhaps. Perhaps it would be madness. But there are stores filled with sandpaper, and should I ever choose to use this piece, which I now hold dear, I would be able to replace it.

No. This has nothing to do with the game Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts. The above two paragraphs were a simple test. If you were riveted by my description of a piece of sandpaper and wanted to know what happens next, you’ll love this game.

Mal, I seriously was riveted by that; I was curious where you were going with it. Would I really enjoy this Dungeon Explorer game?

Yes, yes, you would. I recommend purchasing it immediately. It's only $30 bucks. I got my review copy free, thank God.

I thought you were going to use it as a metaphor for the game itself.
