If you don't intend to throw your foe away, forward or back aerial is good. Seriously, if you throw your attacks/jumps just right you can get off a few attacks in the air. Especially if you're good with his down B, you don't necessarily want to knock the opponent away until you're confident that they're about to die. And especially at low percents, that's when it's easiest to string aerial attacks, too.
