I will make the siggy and avatar. I just want to make sure I get the banner and background right first.
edit: I'll have to make the background width 944 because the profile settings got changed again, and now that has caused another problem because it also goes 1px above the banner

As I said in the first post, it might make it as the main theme on my website if it fits, so I would like it in the highest resolution you can really offer. I know how to cut down the resolution without touching quality. So don't worry so much about the 944 or what-not. Just give me a good version that is much higher then they would need so that even if they tweak the whole profile thing over again I can just resize the original into the proper size and all problems are solved.
Edit: I just suck at the actual art/photoshopping, that's what I'm handing over to your wizards to do.

Oh, I thought that just meant for the picture not to be too blurry or pixelated or not so sharp looking. about how big would you like it? Maybe 1000 px width or maybe about 3 times the width so it's nearly the same size in 300dpi? (depends on the monitor how many times and 300dpi is the high quality printing standard, although 200dpi is high quality to the naked eye in a reasonable distance away, and many people suggest the printing standard should be 200dpi) Or what do you think is the largest possible width and height the banner could be on your website? It might be best to just go by that if you're only going to be using it on your website other than FFR.
I could just extend the borders by a bunch, but that doesn't really make the resolution any better.
Edit: Oh well, I did the max possible size with what I made already before the render of the guy in the middle starts to stretch into worse quality. The render of the Starcraft unit could go much bigger though, it was huge to start off with. Unfortunately, I had to scale the background larger, but I don't think it made it look worse.
another edit: oh and do you want the avatar and siggy extra large too?

Avvy and siggy should be standard forum size... That will only be used on forums(possibly messengers). My site is designed for 1024×768 area. If you want to use that as a rule of thumb then go ahead. Whatever would look good.
Dean_Machine... Something about the "s" on the header bugs me out a little... It looks misshapen... any fonts that look similar but without the fudged S?
Apparently FFR decided to stop alerting me to new posts in this thread so sorry that I didn't respond right away.
So far it's looking good guys! Although I have one more little request... Since this is more then likely going to make it on my site and since I would like to promote it a little bit on my profile can there be a sub-header of www.Saik0.com Under the name and off to the side(right)?
Obviously, I didn't do the amazing artwork in this piece. I merely tweaked the colors and some other things. I added the text myself, of course.
Sig and avatar will follow soon enough. To make this look right (if I'm understanding the new profile layouts) you should upload a blank banner with whatever height you want to reveal your name and/or the rest of the background. That way it flows seamlessly.
@arrekusuof93 That looks cool and all... but I fail to see where that include just about anything I asked for...<edit> except for the color purple...</edit>
@chidori! >_> You forgot about meh?!?! *sniffle* I'm hurt...
Still fail to see anything Starcraft in there... been playing the game since day one... unless that's more concept art for SC2 that I missed... in which case, well played... otherwise, previous statement stands.
And if it is concept art then it's too abstract. If me, as a veteran of the game, can't pick it out as Starcraft then it's not really acceptable to me.
A little less vague is appreciated.
Don't get me wrong... it looks great and all, just don't think it represents me well.
Lol, sadly that looks almost exactly like my monitor... except mines engraved at the top... I like the concept a bit of whitespace left over though... Is there anything you can do with that?
