I'd like to join. This is a pretty brilliant idea. I'm not sure if an automatic forfeit if you don't accept a challange is a good rule, but everything else is very good

So far the only person who has beaten me in a serious, tourneyfag sort of fight is Korny. I feel kind of let down by everyone

Question for Dog:
If you've played the 5 games you can only play, what do you do about getting a challenge? Are we limiting the 5 games to challenging people or to playing 5 games?

I can see once this ladder takes off about having 5 challenges and unlimited "protecting your spot"s.

I'm not being too strict about the 5 game limit right now. I'd say a "defending your spot" match doesn't count toward YOUR total. It counts for the challenger's total though.

Manti, you're fun to play. And not to sound like a person high off my ass, I really wasn't trying. I don't think this was a ranked match, so I had fun with it.

If it's declared as a ranked match, then trust me I go tourneyfag quickly.

Just a note: If you want to be perfectly sure you're playing a ladder match, both of you can post in this thread agreeing to it. Otherwise there's no real proof.

Basically, tourneyfags play with tournament rules only and punchguys just fly around like fairies punching things doing whatever...

This picture describes it pretty well...If you know anything about Melee, you'll get it.
