There's a more effective way to steal "all teh ffr" music that doesn't involve recording from stereo mix, so I certainly hope that's not what people would use this power for.

Like, I want a particular song from youtube, so I can put it on my Mp3 player. So, I need a program to rip it from the youtube URL.

          Thanks

If you're using Firefox, there's a little browser thing you can download which will allow you to download videos from websites such as Youtube to your computer. If you're not using Firefox, there are other 3rd party programs that will do the same. Once you've done that, use DivX or something like that to rip it from the video.

I won't go into detail, because I'm lazy, but if you care enough you should be able to figure it out.

100% easy way to download music or video from the web

              FOR AUDIO

              1)Download audacity(google it)
              2)open audicity
3)next to the microphone input there is a pulldown bar. open that and click on stereo mix(tells the computer to take from whats coming out of your speakers)
              4)click project->new stereo track
              5)hit record
6)Play the music from the website
7)hit stop after the song is done
8)Cut out the silence at the begining and end of the song
              9)export as MP3
              ________________________________________________________________
              FOr VIdeo
DOwnload Moyea Flv Downloader and MediaCoder

              1)open the flv donloader
2)click start download(on the right side, kinda hard to miss)
3)open the site with the desired video
              4) when the download is complete open media coder
5)click on extention and change it to apple ipod or psp(works with most video players including windows media player)
6)click add(top left corner also hard to miss)
7)click your video (if its from youtube it is probably titled 1_1.flv or something like that)
8)Click start(on the same toolbar as add, not the one on your desktop)
!!!vuala, import to itunes or whatever!!!
