If you see yourself only playing guitar, get GH3.

If you see yourself playing drums, singing, or playing with friends, get Rock Band.

Also, I too find Rock Band way more fun than GH3.

RB with others > GH3 > RB by yourself

IMO anyway. RB by myself really isn't very fun in general, I've found...it truly is a multiplayer game at heart to me.

Switched to HS5. Got 720k on TTFAF, hit the end of the solo with the descending OBYOBYOBROBROBROBGOBGOBG in practice mode (full speed). 16th across all systems when you combine my PS2 and 360 scores.

I got 740k last night !

I need to seriously work on the solo though, since that's primarily what's holding me back from breaking 800k. I strum too much during it and over strum a lot.

Got my score up a lot mostly from just combo'ing parts I was breaking in before. Took several hours in practice mode but D:

Nice dude, I definitely can't get 800k but I'm going for 750k to get the achievement. I'm only at 725 now, if I max out all I can hit it's probably like high 700k, 780k or so, but that's hard.

I'm 15th overall across all systems now, with 62 FC's (black magic woman and impulse). Also got really close to TWIE FC like 3 times, always choke somewhere...oh well.

What if you improve? o_O I mean I don't see my score improving much right now, but as I get better I'll do better in the solos and it'll go up. The biggest problem is GH3 has so few songs with a lot of fast stream/hammer on sections to practice on, and I'm not very good at them if they're any faster than CoP.

Really nice FC total. I have like...35? hahaha. I can almost get TWIE now, but I'm not consistent enough. Same goes for stuff like Take this life...I can combo every part no problem but in a real run I always make mistakes.

I don't really put any effort into getting FCs. If I feel the song is below my skill level, I basically try for the FC once and give up if I don't get it >__>. I wish there were more harder songs....I need an xbox.


Now that my brother has gotten better, I tried double teaming One again and just about got FSA. XDD More than anything I think I'd go ahead and try to FC this myself if it wasn't for the fact that I can't transition into the tapping if there's no one else to strum for me D:

Someone else will probably get this, though. I'm not even close to the best player and I can just about tap this, so it's not really that hard. Since you can plant the lower note it's significantly slower than trying to tap the Red Snake. If anything the only hard part about this is 1. Setting up the tap and 2. Not missing the transitions between triplet sets...and then you're just about 100% guaranteed a choke afterwards if you did fc it.

I can only play online... When I play offline I'm total garbage. Online I got 528k on TTFAF and 470k on TDWDTG...I dunno if that's good though.

no im going for the 5*'s in the bonus songs, i only have Nothing Here For Me(4*),The Way It Ends(3*),Take This Life(4*), and Through The Fire And Flames(3*).


But does anyone know, for the 20 Gold Star Achievement, does DLC count.


It's pretty weird, because i FC'd NO More Sorrow, and then one day i go back and all my scores for DLC were erased<.<


I was like WTF, so i dont wanna like try to FC a bunch of DLC songs for nothing. Ya know?

So, today I decided to pick up EWWS. I think I should have no trouble getting the 1mil thing on that. I wasn't having any trouble playing that. Shash, do you have any time to attempt this anytime this week?

Got around 380k on TTFATF, successfully tapping the whole intro for the first time. Once I get the intro down, I think I'll start doing a lot better on the song.
