                                getting closer. also had a 6 great run but with less cbs. also it was literally the same marv+perf count

                                    Decided to take my first tries at SM today. I downloaded the Astronomical Metal Pack that Sulfer put together and played a few songs. Coming from FFR for 1.5 years, it was definitely different...holds are still very tricky for me, and the jacks are ridiculous in SM. Here's a couple scores from my first runs:

                                        Don't have either songs, but as a general statement (assuming they're not like lolaids), improve your MA.

                                            That's something else that's really hard to get used to. I can't find that rhythm...I'm not used to something higher than Perfects, so I'm still getting used to it. More play will definitely improve my MA.

                                                            My MA was absolutely terrible when I started. I played on a higher judge difficulty (mostly 6, sometimes 5), and my MA shot up. My MA still improves when I do; however, it's annoying to play on j6
