Like I said before, judging should always be this strict. We wouldn't get so many crappy files put in the game that way.

Haven wasn't crappy... Besides, it was SOTW, too.

But, yeah. Judging has gotten millions times stricter and I perfectly understand. However, what I don't understand is the fact that a simfile has to follow every single synth note in a certain part of the song consistently throughout the entire song. At this fact, creativity levels dwindle and suspectability raises.

Just because a judge says, "Nope, not how I would've stepped this part," doesn't prevent him from adding on: "But the way you stepped it works nonetheless and it surprised me." Didn't simfiles use to be like that? But now it's almost like you know exactly what steps are going to show up next if you've already heard the song.

SoTW is the song the newest song released, so when Haven went public, after being subscriber only, it became SoTW xD

well this is where it gets a bit tricky. if you know what you're doing it's not hard to figure out what is innovative and what is just plain crappy. while I do admit judging will never be perfect, it has improved at least (I know of a way to improve it a lot but no one will ever be able to get it to happen)

take my blue-violet for example. innovative and fun, but the judges rejected it anyways T_T *glare*

and i guess my opinion doesn't matter because i don't make hard sims that often, but for me the creativity in making them comes from what sounds you leave out instead of what sounds you extrapolate (i don't release many sims because there aren't many songs that are interesting enough to keep this going lol)

Measure 8 - I was just using jumps for the accented notes and the blue arrows are supposed to act like 4th notes for that part.

What parts had inconsistent layering?
What does it mean by rhythms/double placement and I thought the ending followed the vocals perfectly, even after I tried to fix it?

When I didn't write where the problems are, they were found in so many parts.

variations 2 sucked but i think that BABC was good enough to get plus'ed, ESPECIALLY since **** files like Tokyo Banging, Square Volume Amplitude, and 300 got plus'ed.

IIRC it wasn't too bad but
- not hard enough
- the file obviously has a room for improvement technically
- the way of judgement of this time is completely different from previous ones (mainly due to avmiss fix)
