There are a couple applications that allow you to set loop points, also I used a VST called directwave to do it myself.

@NetJet! This forum moves far too slow for a set sign up date to be convenient. I want as many entries as possible, so I might even postpone the contest ending day depending on how many entries we have.

End of March, unless some people need more time, not getting as many entries as I would have hoped so I will have to probably make time allowances. The more entries this contest gets the more interesting it will be.

Well, I tried, but Mario paint doesn't go at a high enough bpm, the program is unfortunately limited to 280~ and doesn't allow for 16th notes or shorter. Which, according to Stargroup100's very accurate sheet music, is just chuck full of.

what program do you guys use to make these songs? besides mario paint.

I am guessing most of the people here use FL studios, however I myself use Synapse's Orion Platinum.

haha wow. Turns out looping a wav in reason is easyer than I thought. Probably not as easy as FL though since you dont have a visual representation of the wav. Oh well, i'll probably work on it a bit more tonight.
