    F Disk is the real man's way.

    Just make sure you still have your Win XP(if thats your Windows program) Installation cds handy.

      Why did you waste those sweet sweet specs on a Dell instead of building your own and saving money is waht I wanna know.

      OH yeah, I say try another browser, check all your lan settings, and if it doesn't solve itself in a few days lke your dad said, fdisk taht bitch.

          LEGO - I don't know what this bad rap Dell's been getting is all about. I got my computer that should have cost 2,000 for 1300 something. And it owns yours and basically everybody else's here so hard.

          Qreepy - can you access the router... or do you have one? When I had the problem it wouldn't even let me access the router, but I could ping.

              This probably has nothing to do with anything... but you might as well try it..

              WindowXP has a built in firewall I believe.. check to see if that's off..

                If you have Win9x or ME, go to the run box and type winipconfig. (might be winipcfg, stupid archaeic commands) Release all, then renew all.

                If you gots XP or 2000, go to the command prompt and type ipconfig. Then "ipconfig /release" "ipconfig /renew".

                Both of these might break your connection if you happen to subscribe to craptastic IPSs, but I figure you got nothing to lose. If this dont work, bash your computer repeatedly with a aluminum baseball bat. Remember, hit the computer not the monitor.
