I'll explain it...

As you use your skills, you will get points to use to increase your skills. The number on the left is how many point you currently have, and the one on the right is the number you need to rank up that skill set. Be it sword or magic, or whatever.

When you go to an instructor, it will say Novice near the top with an arrow on the right and left. If you click on the arrows, you can scroll through the different ranks you need to be to learn them.


If that still doesn't help, I'll post a few screens explaining it.

Well I understood this.

Use skills = Skill EXP rises = Skill Level up = +1 Skill Point

The thing I don't know what to do is..with the actual skill POINTS I receive. Am I able to save them for apprentice or do they need to be used BEFORE on the Novice skills?

I found a pretty sweet forum based discussion of people who played either the EU or Korean version of the game and had really high level chars.

Apparently leveling up sword or magic skill raises your base stats as well as giving you access to more basic char upgrades D=

I'm grinding sword skill as a mage and it's taking AGES.

Can you please tell me how this is vital for a mage? I remember when I was in the beta before they banned US ips people were saying the same thing. I understand the base stat boost but what are the skills you gain from sword that it's so important to do this?

Endgame there are potions you can buy that extract the base stat (str or dex) i guess, and when you have these bonus stats at end game you can beef the hell out of your Int, plus you get to use the advanced sword skills like dash, which is pretty useful.

Look at skills on right side. Adding points into Freeze Arrow, was that ok or not ok? If it's not ok, am I able to delete the skill and recover the points used or are they wasted?

If you click the - it will lower the skill level and give back the point(s) you used. You have to pay money to do this and the amount increases with the level. If you click the - when the skill level is 1 it will delete the skill. So upgrade any skill you want, just remember that you will have to pay to remove it later.

Loyal2Death, only MacGravel can invite right now because our guild lacks some form of hierarchy. It's just Guild Master and Guild Members.

MacG: pretty much invite people you think will be active and won't just dissappear off. I also recommend (not require) to give donations for the guild. I mean, 10m is a lot.

Pro tip for FA/WZ: upgrade the back-step skill as much as possible (i tihnk it's 9). Its extremely useful for PvP'ing. Getting hit = bad.
