That FS of Marth's seems pretty hard to miss with if you don't just throw it out randomly. You can cancel into a FS from a regular combo, so anyone with a drop of skill should be able to make it connect. Any few frames of lag at all is enough to get it in. Like Squeek said, other FSs are much more easily avoidable. You can just WALK in the direction that Lucario's Master Spark is sweeping and it will miss, small stage or not.

I agree. Ike's is definitely the most painful- and cool-looking. But the funniest goes to Luigi, hands down.

By the way, 1,776th post for us Americans.

besides you still need skill to get the smash ball, and don't get hit by anyone, but of course you say it doesn't use strategy because you only play in plane stages, well i guess you will have to play with your friends only, have fun winning without any kind of chaotic twists.

ike's final smash is hands down the best looking one and the funniest well i say the pikmin one XD

Also, I don't know if anyone read what I said about Marth's Final Smash. If you miss, you die. It's an all-or-nothing Final Smash. It'd be like getting the Home Run Bat and only getting one swing. If you miss the swing, you go flying instead.
Sorry. Won't be playing on stages like that either. Chasing my opponent isn't my idea of fun.

Ya ONLY my friends and the rest of the competitive community. If I want chaotic twists I'd go do LSD.

              Of course it isn't.

Well then. Why don't you guys make a stage like the Bridge of Eldin, except don't let it crumble.

Just make it wide enough so that huge AOE final smashes can't cover more than 75% of the stage, but not wide enough that you can run away all the time.

              There you go.

But then again, I more or less expected this from you guys, so I'm not really annoyed.

Because those final smashes aren't my idea of "skill". They are awesome for fun type play, but not my kind of play.

And again, you and I have a very different concept of skill.

Having to pick things out, make your own circumstantial boundaries and rules to compensate for you lack of skill isn't my kind of play.

Apparently. When the game comes out I'll play you with your rules and my rules. We'll see who is right then.

As for the guy above this post. Don't worry, you won't be playing with me.

It doesn't matter. The competitive community will speak volumes louder than casuals and thus the compet rules will remain standard

Besides why would casuals care anyway. It's not like they are playing to win thats fer suree lulz

Exactly! This will be the ultimate test of which playstyle brings more skill to the battelfield! Eventho it's painfully obvious but some people just aren't seeing eye to eye. Hopefully they will when they loose on there settings. No Items FTW!!

                          They remain standard... for competitions.

I said before you can't disable items in random online play. So, best of luck thar.

The standard rules are the ones you can't change that the game gives you.

                          And don't doublepost.

What kind of person looking to practice will be playing randoms? Unless they are looking to take some frustration off their shoulders or beating on people who probably won't know what they are doing.

i will personally play random on-line matches because even though i don't know who am i playing with those people might suck or be good players, it would not be frustrating because i can vote on a stage and i can use random items.

sorry but that plan of "wich one is better" never works... i tried with some tourneytards i played with, i won and they said "i lost because of the stupid stage/you used an item". besides playing in a simple stage without items is not "skill" is just a competition of who can press buttons faster than the other.

Winning both games wouldn't prove anything. It would just inflate your pathetic ego.
