This isn't on the Dojo.

This is a leak from a guy in Japan who got an advance copy of the game.

I have no rhyme or reason for why things happen.

Here's what I know from observing /v/ for about 2 hours:

Antagonists: Wario, Bowser, Ganondorf, DeDeDe. They all seem intent on making the protagonists into trophies. Ganondorf seems to hold some sway over the others. In the meantime, some kind of dark cloud possesses certain characters. I've seen images of dark bowser and dark zelda. The character stories clash at certain points in their paths.

The match-ups are generally "who was where after X happened". For example, Fox gets attacked by the Halberd (metaknight's ship). He crashes in DK Jungle. Diddy finds him. Boom, pair. Ganondorf uses Pikachu to run a generator in Samus's ship. Boom, pair. Harder to explain, but yeah, pair.

Pairs? Or... triplets?

Omgsh, new leaks are still coming tonight. One more character confirmed. One disconfirmed(..but come on, who actually thought he would be in it? (SSE Boss))

Other (poorer quality) screens show Star Wolf and Jigglypuff.

Some speculation states that this roster still has room to grow, but other people just believe that's wishful thinking. Then again, if you can truly get the entire roster in under 8 hours...

Edit: Falcon and Olimar are pairs for SSE. That one is obvious.

I told you, expect the unexpected.

R.O.B. was in Star Fox and Mario Kart. This wasn't the cause of him being in Smash Bros, this was the effect of him being R.O.B.

Please, don't get so zealous with uncertainties you deem as certain, it's likely to come back to bite you later.
