    Re: Devonin's Critical Thinking Tournament

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip a lot of those puzzle rounds; I simply don't have the time. I have loads of homework to do. I'll just try to play the songs when I have the time.

bleh, lost a few days travelling to the US and settling on campus. Was late to login for previous riddles as well, so probably I can't get a satisfying score anymore, but the puzzles are cool, so I'll just stay in and see how it goes. Yay, ready for round 4 =).

I hope you can accept this Rondo v2 score; I forgot to take a screenshot. You can check my last ten replays; it's in there. I'll also post the link in a second.

Edit: Here it is. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...eplay/8274741/ I don't think I'll get better than this (it was a first try score).

                Re: Devonin's Critical Thinking Tournament

Round 4 is up, and sweet jesus did that take a long time to make.

Edit: And also, dabigpig, you know you can submit for a song more than once right? If you play again and improve your score, you can retroactively have gotten more points on the song.

More other edit: To people figuring that they've already missed "too many" riddle rounds, bear in mind that prizes are currently going out to the top 15 people, which right now is a whopping 6 points, with only 4 people below you. I was hoping that once things got rolling some new donations might come in, but even if they don't, you just need to show up to most rounds to still have a solid shot at winning something.

Annoying miss near the end. I'll FC if it gets me another point.

I liked this round's puzzle, though.

fyi. this puzzle is insanely hard... although i've only spent about 35 minutes on it...

but, the source i'm using to assist me is having loads of trouble on many of these, which worries me greatly, considering i've used the same source countless times before for other puzzles and it's worked brilliantly.

You're using a source other than the raw power of your brain? *grin*

I'm obviously not going to link you to it right now, but there's a particular tool (possibly just this one website using that tool) which seems designed specifically for this kind of puzzle.

i PMed you with what tool i'm using. if you check it out, you'll see it SHOULD work perfectly for this. Tass is not having a fun time with this... expect a somewhat-rantish PM when I finish going through each of the 11.

let me reiterate that this is quite a hard challenge.

the thing is, I derived my answer from only two of the 11. Rest was logical deduction based on the confines of the problem.
