jeez, just need a five star on take this life, the way it ends and ttfaf.... take this life is making me mad, im so close, I just dont understand it well enough yet... the way it ends i hit 97%, but im unable to hold a streak, and ttfaf is well, something i wont be 5*'ing any time soon.

Yea so I was fooling around and got the idea to try laying the guitar flat and having my brother strum for me so I could use 2 hands stepmania style.

FC'd the jordan solo after a few tries XD I could probably 100% it I think, at least in practice mode >_>

obviously not a legit way to play, but funny anyway XD yeah ~115 32nds are not fast if you can play like that.

You should learn tapping (bringing your strum hand to the fretboard during longer HOPO sections), that's legit and it's a little like that, just hard to coordinate well.

I was trying to do it with an elbow strum, and it was working partially but I am inconsistent with the elbow strum. I either 1. FC the section 2. Miss at the start and then can never get going or 3. Get going and then slip, and can't recover.

Was going to try to get a 100% on jordan but it's too hard lmao. Brother keeps screwing up the strumming during solo E/F. I'd switch back to playing it myself...if only I could fc it >_>


So I gave up and decided to try to tap One the same way. It works...but it's holy cow easy to choke when you get to the solo. That and bro would screw up darkness riffs, so I'm like ok I'll do them but then there's nowhere to transition back to flat guitar so lmao. *quits this nonsense*

5*'d 95% of Hard and have cleared through Expert. I still only get like 8 percent on TTFAF on expert though because that intro is hard as balls to me.

Edit: Got Black Sunshine finally. NotB, RB, and BiF left to 5* off the main list now.

Well I would say NotB if you were good at it. I have 570k, it's my highestscore, and then secondly I would say BiF, but you say you're not too good at that. So maybe Stricken, I only have 498k on it, or maybe TtFatF if you're pretty good at it, I couldn't get it though...

I did the 500k on NotB. I would say that's probably one of the easier ones to do it on. But, all of the following should be possible to get it (via scorehero):
Story of My Life, Holiday in Cambodia (hard and expert), Cherub Rock, Before I forget, Stricken, Knights of Cydonia (hard and expert), Number of the Beast (hard and expert), One (hard and expert), Monsters, Avalancha, Down n' Dirty, Hier Kommt Alex, Mauvais Garcon, Take This Life (hard and expert), The Way It Ends (hard and expert), Through the Fire and Flames(hard and expert).

This is not including the DLC so those can also be factored into this. Of these songs, I would suggest NotB as probably being the easiest at least it was for me.

So I've played GH3 since November, and it took until yesterday for me to figure out, actually my friend told me, what the glyphs with the brighter inner circle meant. The game's become phenomenally easier now that I know where to strum during the hammer ons, and with this I managed to finally do the intro to TtFaF.
