    The National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 states that revenue will be withheld from states that allow the purchase of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21.
    3 more years for you little guy.

    18 is the age for smoking, voting, drafting, jury duty, and claiming independence from your family if you wish. Not drinking.

        I think he was only implying that he was going to hold a beer. I don't know why the hell there would be a separate law for that in NC, but whatever.

            you can still go drink on a cruise ship in international waters, i know i was served as much alcohol as i pleased when i was 13 on a cruise

                                            You can legally purchase alcohol only when you're 21 in the States.

                                            Also, the Canadian drinking age is mainly 19. Only 18 in three provinces.
