So going back to Guitar Hero 2.

I have now 5 starred every song bar Jordan now. Today I picked it up and 5 starred Pyhcobilly Freakout and Carry me home. I then did institutionalized on the second go. I only need to complete Hanger 18 and Freebird which I knoe I can do but I need to do on career and I can get the Guitar =D.

Welp, I bumped my 360 and my box made this effed up noise, so I take out the disc and there's a huge spiral gash in my disc.

I'll just pull the movie rental switcheroo, but I'm out for awhile. I wanna ***** The Way it Ends. D=

Well I'm getting the game in a few days and I'm going to start seriously playing it. Can somebody please tell me how I should use the guitar. I'm left handed and every time I play I play right handed because I'm usually at a party and I don't want to waste time changing the option. Also where do I keep my fingers on the keys in the beginning. ALSO how do I strum and what finger(s) do I use if I want to eventually do TTFAF ect.

Also is it worth also getting GHII or should I just get GHIII.

If you're left handed it really doesn't matter, play whatever setting feels better.

On easy and medium, keep your hands with the index on green, middle on red, etc. Once you get to hard and expert, keep your index on red, middle on yellow, etc. It's a lot easier to reach your index up to green instead of moving your pinky to orange.

I'd say get GHII before getting GHIII. The songs in GHIII are much harder, and it's better to play GHII first I'd think.

GH3 is harder but the gameplay is easier because the HOs and POs actually work.

That part is pretty hard tibs, but once you get it down it's not too hard to 5*.

Finally got the 5* on the way it ends. Actually, I overkilled the 5*...ended up with like 450k pretty easily once I got used to the pattern. Should be able to break 500k no problem.

Just need to 5* TTFATF now D: Not having much luck though.

i've been playing this for 2 weeks or so now, and it's kinda better than sm in some ways maybe

my friend brought gh3 to my house tonight and i got 92% sightread on knights of cydonia, that was pretty cool for me . i figure it'll take another month of playing until i'm 5 starring hard stuff (i only have gh2)

I got 91% on TTFATF but still barely 4*s. Urg. I was actually set up to break 500k but then I failed on the red snake of death 32nd junk at 90% for the first time ever. Go figure

That's the part that gets me in TTFAF everytime Reach. That's one of the things I can pass, but when I do, the next note I miss makes me fail....still haven't beaten the stupid thing.

I got my first gh game for Christmas. Gh3, Wii version. The only songs I can't do on hard are raining blood and one, and I can only do about half the songs on expert. Still pretty fun though.
