Fighting sucks. I remember when I was a kid some other kid and his friends who were bigger than me wanted to try and fight me for whatever reason, so basically they all ganged up on me. Since I've been taking Tae Kwon Do since I was 5.. well yeah I won but still I didn't feel good at all about beating them up

Congratulations, you have just defined what it is to be a sentient person. That theory is a logical outward movement from knowing yourself, an attribute that I have come to realize most people lack.

My friends and I have been... hrrm "training" for some time now. We are currently using bokkens, but I am very skilled with a knife. I have 3 broken fingers. Need...Hockey gloves.

I fail to see how it connects with what I said though but I've never read it so yeah. >_>

You're right, there's nothing glorious about beating somebody up. And beating people up isn't the truth behind Martial Art. Fighting isn't about feeling almighty and powerful and beating people up. If you are the 'easy going' guy, fights should equal self defense (when you have NO OTHER CHOISE but to fight), meaning, fights don't happen unless your OPPONENT has chosen to fight you, not the other way around. You mustn't think of fighting as in terms of being morally good or wrong.....what you must realize is that you are still alive and did what you had to to escape harm. And THAT, my friend, is all that matters.
Tae Kwon Do is about self-defense, which is what I did. But it didn't feel right. But what you said in all the rest of that paragraph basically had no relevance to anything I said because you're telling me what you feel fighting is and more or less I don't really care. What you did was make it sound like I hurt the guys because I wanted to. Then you started talking about fighting being morally good/bad and talking about being alive like if I'd just got done fighting some axe murderer. I believe you got a little carried away there, buddy.

I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Grabbing their arm and spinning around once and letting go is surprisingly effective if they don't weight much more than you.

                Hooks are good.

I know alot more, but I have to hop off the internet about now.

There we go, now you gave your post better wording. However I didn't feel bad about having to defend myself, I felt bad about hurting the dudes. They're two different things to me. Don't try and tell me that you think they are, either, because I don't care what you think they are if I know they aren't, and you seem like the kind of guy who likes his beliefs to be influenced among others and I'd rather not get into an argument about it because it just doesn't work with me. Also, don't try and tell me what I should or should not be doing. Those types of people are the people that bug me the most as I almost posted a more detailed message about in the what kind of people bug you topic. If I feel like taking Tae Kwon Do, I'll take it. Don't tell me that I don't have the knack for it, either. Those are some unfriendly mistakes you made.

You honestly think I'm going to read through all of that to find a question?
