And it's not your place to say if your child should live or die. Your being the parent doesn't give you a special power of life or death over your kids. I don't see how you can possibly justify your views on abortion after making a comment like that.

We might need a new thread for this.
You can do with it what you will.... it takes a lot more than someone like you to offend me. By if you want to continue to try, be my guest.

It's not your place to say who should have lived and who should have died. For all you know, a person who, if they had lived, would have created or used a weapon to destroy the world, could have been aborted.
True enough, I got carried away.

But as far as "who should live," we've practically demolished that concept with abortion anyway, so don't you dare try and use that against me.

Hey wait a minute, Chrissi. Didn't you agree with Kefit on that other thread, about "living for yourself?" How perfect! Who cares who should have lived, right? As long as it doesn't affect you? Hmm...

        You're next, ayanepuck.

Saying "you all make me sick" is not a good way to get people to accept your arguments.

I'm not trying to get people who agree with me, I'm trying to provoke the people who disagree with me to give me their best, so I can figure out just what I'm up against, and so I can survive my high school freshman year.

That didn't make me want to give you my best, that made me want to say you're retarded.

And true chardish, it sounds that way. But all I meant is that you can't say abortion is bad because you kill geniuses. You're also killing people who would be murderers. Does that make sense?

Is that your best? High school should be a breeze.

Wow. This has turned into a battle of who could care less. (thank you Ben Folds) Silly me, I wanted to stick to the topic...so here you are:
Who am I to say who lives and who dies? It is not my call, nor anyone else's. I agree with a woman's right to choose, plain and simple. It is an opinion, and yes, one that can be and will be debated until the end of time. I appreciate your opinion, typist, and the opinions of everyone in here, even if it is an opinion with which I happen to disagree. What I do not appreciate is you bashing everyone in sight and telling everyone around you to give you his/her "best." Also, if you are seriously basing your ability to "survive" freshman year on this thread, I feel very sorry for you and hope that your attitude changes in the future.

All right, stop it. You're being extremely immature. No, it's not "my best", I just told you. I don't want to get into an argument of insults, but apparently you do.

Ah, but we both know it's not about an arguement anymore. It's just about getting the last word in...

I really want to hear why helgen supports all kinds of abortion.
I think partial birth abortion is wrong. I don't know how one judge can throw the ban out the window.

Something about... living for yourself, was it?

It's hard to take someone like you seriously. Looking at where you have some of your other posts, it really is.

Anyway, back to whether or not partial birth abortion is wrong, that goes back to the absolute truth issue, in which I stand firmly resolved, (no, I hate debate class,) that even if the entire world believes that something is right, it can still be wrong.

That seems to belong in a different thread. Or does it? These two issues seem to go hand in hand. . .

what you believe is wrong and what I believe is wrong and what Joe Shmo believes is wrong are all different things. Morals are personal, no matter how you look at it....but that is a different arguement.

I suggest if we are to continue a conversation with that topic, however, that we start a new thread, because bringing up a thread such as this one that has been dead for a while just to argue back and forth is ridiculous. We are not on topic anymore nor have we been for a good while. Everyone in here has made their point over and over again (I know I have at least twice) so please stop bashing people just to get a rise out of them. It is just not fun that way. People come here to discuss and debate. Not be jerked around by some freshman with an ago.

I believe that many other people can take me seriously. If you can't, too bad for you. I don't respect you at all anymore, after your attack-fest. It's disturbing how you seem to put emphasis on your ideas being better than mine and not even realize it. Maybe you just need to grow up. I'm thinking so. I was a total moron when I was 14, so don't take that as an insult.
