EDIT: Without a doubt, Domani makes me want to sit in a warm bath and shred my wrists. That pink background gives me a headache every time I look at it.

How do you know what color the bg is?



and didn't Shash make a topic months ago saying he would fix the colors on some of the songs "this week" and it never happened?

most of them were fixed by Shash a long time ago, but a few weren't. Delirium is one of them.

And being color blind means you can't see certain colors. He's just not colorblind to the pink.

Songs with backgrounds succeed in destroying my PA and making normally visible arrows invisible for me. Note that I am colorblind.

Thus, I hate these songs. Though, I think I did at least FC this song.

How do you know what color the bg is?

I guess I can't expect people who aren't colorblind to understand what being colorblind is like, but it's not like I see in black and white, people. C'mon.

I'm colorblind to reds and greens, but that doesn't mean I can't see them. I see red and green just fine - it's the shades and hues that to me, are all the same. Also, colors with red and green in them, like purple (which is red and blue) can present problems as well.

In the case of FFR and song backgrounds, it's the colors mixing that make things hard for me. Like Domani, for example, which has a pink (pink is red and white) background, red arrows are nearly impossible for me to pick up, and typically, I miss them.

Luckily it's only a few songs that are hard, and song backgrounds aren't popular anymore, so it's really not that bad all together.

I third that too. All background songs (NeoMax, Delirium, Domani, FFTB, even SkellyBones) give me a terrible lag and I can't play any of them at all. I think my FFTB rank is in the 30,000's.

ACTUALLY I hear that they are disallowed entirely for Second Style.

When colored notes first started popping up I thought the colors were chosen by the artist and had little to do with the song other than aesthetic reasons.

I totally did too. They're perfectly consistant and in the same spots in both the stepfile and the beat of the music. I was like "This is the like red-colourwashing in Neomax" and I actually kinda liked it.

Yeah, except the red color-washing is a pain in the ass to keep track of with an orange/red background.

Same here - not only are they impossible to play because of the colors for me, but also because they lag.

Solution is simple though, just play them on LQ.

Hahahahaha. Didn't Moogy do Crowdpleaser? Darn him for being so awesome (I think awesome is the word).

Solution is simple though, just play them on LQ.

I love LQ. Before I couldn't even combo Delirium, but with LQ I can destroy it, and rightly so, hehe, it's not even one of the harder levels.
