    When did the sticky happen?

Xbox 360 = Many good FPS, and online games. HD graphics and 120gb MAX hard drive.
Wii = Fun, original games. No more memory cards (unless you play Gamecube games) and even the "kiddy" games that most of you call them are fun for all ages.
PS3 = Small library of games, few online games, 60gb MAX hard drive.

IMO, Xbox 360 and Wii is the way to go, but you don't want the Wii, so then go for the 360.
    Out Now!

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?

lol I've played his Wii. Wii sports bored me the first night I played it. I beat zelda at his house on the Wii. Decent game but flicking my wrists doesnt make me want to buy a Wii. Ive played warrio ware or w/e its called. REALLY boring after the first week of playing it. Monkeyball was wayyyy better. I want to play the wii monkeyball but he doesnt want to buy it, but Im not going to sweat it. The reason I got a 360 over Wii is because I love playing games online. 360 online play is WAY better. Isnt like the only online Wii game mario strikers? I have that for gamecube. Guess what. Boring. Obviously this is all my opinion, but thats what he asked for. If he wanted the stats on each system he could have easily googled them. If you think your going to convince me that the Wii is worth buying at the moment then your wasting your own time. If you think you are going to convince the guy who made this thread, then your wasting your time.

ddr_f4n, you have to be the most obvious 360 troll I've ever encountered on this forum. I've sat through enough of your posts to know this. This post just proved that. Let's analyze what you typed.

You say the 360 has many good FPS and online games. It has HD graphics and a console that has a 120GB HD. Ok, first off the 360 has only 1-3 good FPS and some of those are already ported to PC or PS3. 360 has XBLA so no problems there. The 360 has HD graphics. Wow. I don't mean to sound rude but are you a jackass? Of course it's going to have HD graphics. It's a next gen console for chrissake! That's like saying this model car has AC in it when all new cars have AC standard. Also, most 360 users will tell you Microsoft ripped them off by making the Elite when they already blew their money on the Premium 360.

Now with PS3 you said it has a small library of games and online games. Not true. The PS3 has a small library of exclusives. If you take a look at the PS3's game list, there are plenty of games to play, however they are all ports. PSN is releasing good arcade games such as Everyday Shooter for example. Also, if you knew anything that you thought you did, you would know the PS3 has an 80GB model.

If you are going to troll, at least tell the truth.

PS- By the way, don't forget the console failure rates.

        Xbox 360 - 33%
        PS3 - .02%
        Wii - .02%

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?

Ok I may seem baised about my popinions about some of the systems, simply because I hate some systems over the other ones or Love one system above all... But still an opinion is an opinion... I dont expect all of you to agree with me in what Im about to say about these console but bear with the fact that I do not enjoy having to bash my favourite system or heavily bash one I hate, But I voice my opinion because I find it nesessary.

*Cough* Ahem.. Now down to Buisness... Which console Would Suit you better?

          XBOX 360
          Manufacturer: Microsoft
          First Available: November 22, 2005
Media: DVD, DVD-DL, CD, Add-On: HD DVD
System storage: 20 or 120 GB hard drive, 64, 256 or 512 MB memory cards
Controller input: 4 maximum (wired or wireless or combination of either)
          Connectivity: 3 × USB 2.0, IR port, 100Mbit Ethernet
          Online service: Xbox Live

Notable Games: Halo 3, CoD 3, BioShock

OK come on seriously guys I really don't like the system at all.. Im glad they fixed the melting disc problem and all that but still games like Halo 3 and COD 3 piss me the **** off.. like come on... Halo 3 nothing was actually improved if you thing about it alot and I know how hard it is for some of you to do that with your prides hanging above all your judgement with the on-going competition between these systems. On a serious note sure some graphics in some games were good but not enough to convince me of its so great potential... Another thing that it came out WAY TOO EARLY... If it stayed in production longer it may have been more beneficial to them working out kinks and bugs with the progamming and such.. again raising the 33% failure rate stated in previous comments and posts... Alot of game of course but only a few rose above the rest and Im going to say that Halo 3 can eat it... That game can die in a really big napalm indused fire... Seriously all they did to it was make the Chief and Arbiter more flashy, Add a vehicle or two and buff up the graphics a bit... Like seriously none of this in my experiance raised the fun factor to this game or made it any more enjoyable like the first two... It was all straight forward and the plot was easily identifiable. Some games on the other hand were good and they know who they are*cough*Not Halo 3*cough*. Finally all the PS3 games that should be PS3 Exclusive (ie: Assassins Creed) and aren't due to microsoft's Whining adds to the piss me off factor and I believe that Microsoft should join Halo 3 in that fire over there...

Therefore my Opinon on XBOX 360 is... Dont get it unless your one of those Halo Fanboys... Otherwise just Get a better system.. or better yet stick with the PC they getting better anyways.

Yeah ok so I went overboard with this one.. I thought this system had more to offer than the XBOX itself did minus the larger hardrive and such. Of course low selection of game for the time being till late Spring 2008 but more visually impressive games since the Blue-Ray disc has more storage on it to add much need boost to its graphic potentional. Yet, Of I admit the fact you need and HD tv to run your games to the max-Core but still I enjoy the fact of a SIXAXIS control and wireless net and free online play (Not sure if X live is free yet...) CoD 4 for the time being and Assassins Creed and Haze coming up will bide time for FFXIII Verus and MGS4 and other jaw dropping games will make it worthe wait.. Sure pricy but worth it in the end.

Therefore my opinion on the PS3 is... If you have the patience for the newer game titles coming out later and the money to blow, deffinately something to pick up...

My Opinion: Just as I stated bove.. If your not into the Higher end systems heres something for you guys.. Just try no to hurt yourselves with the controller eh?

OK well that about wraps it up for me of course love it hate I dun care... You must be sick of reading this anyways my Final words are some systems kicks more ass that others just be sure to pick the right one before you find yourself questioning yourself why you suck so mucha nd why your friend laugh at you for having the opposite system to theirs cause your some gay *** or soemthing. That is the most ridiculously biased arguement I have ever seen.
First of all, only an idiot could possibly hurt themselves with a Wii controller.

Second, Xbox 360 has a hell of a lot more than just Halo 3.
            I hate Halo 3, and I like my 360.
And you didn't even mention XBLA, which right now has easily the best game downloads.

I'm neither a kid or a lazy slob. Before you say you never called me a lazy slob or a kid. I believe you just did. The Nintendo is kiddy argument is tired and proven wrong so many times before, anyone who still says that to this day shouldn't be taken seriously in any console debate.

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?

I was kinda leaning towards this before but I think I'm getting a 360. I understand and it cheeses me when people rip on PS3's small library as Xbox as a year on them but I'm looking for online play almost completely.

Two more questions which won't change my opinion but I want to know:

                  1. My friend said the PS3 can be used as a fully functional computer with word processor ect. I don't think this is true and if is, is this done with that Linux thing you can do with Xbox? (btw...how do you do that)

                  2. To get internet for your Xbox360 can you simply hook up an enthernet cable to a laptop with active WLAN?

Oh by the way, Manhunt 2 just came out on the Wii.
That game is banned in 2 countries.
It was AO rated, but they dimmed it down a little, so it is now mature, and that ban still stands.

And a 360 troll would go and say that the Wii is also a good system.

Now, I'm not saying that 360 is the best system ever created. I'm just saying that now it is preferable for fido123 since he wanted a system with many FPSs, and the 360 is the choice for him now since he wants a console now.

If not, I'd ask him to get the Wii, and if he prefered many RPGs, then sure, go for the PS3. I seriously saw the same HD graphics. No difference at all, at both of my friend's house.

Now let me rephrase what I said for your liking:
360: Large library of games, many online games, many FPSs
Wii: Original, fun, and good for those who likes to swing their arms and workout.
PS3: Small library of games, but if you're patient, the library will grow. Not as many FPSs though, so not to your liking. Many good exclusives though (Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy, etc.)
                          Out Now!

Point out to me where I didn't give an explanation for anything and I'll explain it to you, because I can't find anything that I didn't explain.
