Im more and more not liking ghiii and more and more liking rock band. Seriously, better setlist, better interface, additional instruments, band world tour......

Rock Band has three major downfalls.

1) I know like 3 songs.

2) My friends are in other universities.

3) It's not on Wii.

You could say "oh well you can play over the Internet!!11". No, I can't. Even if we did all have 360s (none of us do), that would mean all four of us would have to buy the game. We'd each have sets of 3 instruments that would never be used. Waste of money.

I don't really like the RB guitar, although I only played the demo before switching over to the drum/vocal combination at BestBuy. The strum bar has a crapload more resitance on it, at least the one I used, and I had no sense of hammer-on, pull-off. I guess that's why playing drums is something I find a little more straight forward.

And the vocal set up, I'm not ashamed to say I own most Karaoke games for the PS2 - a crapload of Singstar games, American Idol Revolution, and most of the other Karaoke revolution titles, so the singing interface fit like a glove.

Rock Band makes me giddy. I played the demo and failed like a homo tapping the Tom Sawyer solo (I'll need to work on that ), but the other songs I played were really fun and drums were cool too.

the demo peripherals are prototypes (HMXSean said so, and he said they were working on getting final builds out ASAP)

boohoo for you Squeek. Im not saying EVERYONE has to get this game (I know a lot of my friends are like wtf you just got GH why the hell do you need another one) but for those of us who do have the friends and DO have the 360/ps3, and DO know the crapload of epic win songs that are on RB, we are teh most definitely getting it.

yeah rock band is gonna be sweet, but it's kinda less accessible, I'm only gonna be playing it when three of my friends are available

GH3... pretty decent. I prefer GH2 due to the angle that the notes come in. Although HOPO's are so much easier in GH3 IMO. Favorite song in GH3 is probably rock you like a hurricane or one.

I'm getting this game this weekend.
I hope it lives up to my expectations... It seems pretty epic because I'm into music games and such.......Could have a better song selection but not bad.

i hate the HO/PO on guitar hero 3 prefer 2 but the setup is awesome and the songs are cool. and im not sure if its just me or not but the notes dont go with the music no matter what the calibration is O.o
