Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
It was called Ikaruga, and it was on Dreamcast, then Gamecube. It will appear on Xbox Live Arcade some time in the near future.
@everyone else: if you're going to spew bias, there's no reason to post at all. I don't mind if you have a reason behind it, but most of you are just saying whatever you want without reason for it. "lol *console* sux!!1" is not a reason.
See, I said why my opinion is that I'll never have a 360 or a PS3. The reason was that all the good games come out on PC anyway. Gears of War just came out on PC. Call of Duty 4? PC. Unreal Tournament 3 comes out on PC before it does on any console. Orange Box was PC. So far, the only high-selling console games that aren't on PC are Resistance and Halo 3. It's a good thing both of those games suck.
@l2: Didn't I just say I have a dozen Wii games? Doesn't that prove to you that there are games on the console worth playing? Sorry if your friend has poor taste in games and only buys TEH HARDCOER GAEMZZZZZZZZ instead of looking into E-rated games that actually might be fun without having to blow heads off of bad guys!
@Fido: Your reasons for not liking Wii are retarded. You don't have to move at all in most games. The graphics are far from "horrible". The novelty has not even come close to wearing off. What has worn off is Wii Sports. If that's the only game you have for the console, then it's pretty obvious why you'd get bored of it. Sports gets old in about 20 hours. Which is why you buy other games. I have well over 100 hours in my Elebits save file and I average 50 hours in every other game. That's far more than I ever have on any other console I've owned.Comment

and as for the only good games on the ps3 and 360 apearing on the pc, thats just your bias and i couldnt disagree more. There are a lot of games on either console that most people enjoy that arent/wont be released on the PC. the general opinion on the two games you mentioned is that neither of them suck. i may not by halo 3's biggest fan but i'm not going to say other people wont enjoy it.Comment

"Hm, lets see.Hm, lets see.
Super Mario Galaxy is coming out within a week.
Got 9.8/10 on a bunch of good websites, including the only one that is not incredibly biased. Gametrailers.
Elebits, makes up for the bad graphics with incredibly fun gameplay.
Radiant Silvergun 3 is rumored for a Wii release (and XBLA, but still)
Geometry Wars is coming on the Wii with a standalone game, and it looks much, much better then the original or retro evolved.
Oh, and I guess you didn't know the Wii plays all gamecube games if you would rather play gamecube.

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
If you're anal about the graphical difference between the 360 and PS3 you're a serious twat. A true moronic example of someone not caring about the other 98% of what makes a good game.
This is my opinion.
The Wii at the moment is still selling out and the popularity is still rising at a rate that's alarming for a console that has already been out for a year, that being said half the games that supported the Wii's vote pre launch are still not out. There is still a lot to look forward to. The graphics can not match the 360 and the PS3 but to say it's graphics are crap is very stupid. The graphical capabilities of the console still has not peaked and already there are some stunning looking games. The innovative controls can get boring some times but it's funny how people never comment on how other controllers get boring. To be honest, it may have lost some magic but it beats control systems that have been around for 15 years, I find them boring. Plus the remote still has a few tricks up it's sleeve aparently, according to games to be released like Super Mario Galaxy. I guess maybe it depend what you find attractive about games. I certainly find how fun this console is rather attractive. Side note, Wii Virtual Console is brilliant. Much better than Live! Arcade. You game download more games from more consoles.
The PS3 has extreme amounts of potential. However it's not something that's growing, rather declining as most of it's "Exclusives!" are and already have been announced and ported to other consoles. All that being said, it's still the most superier console in terms of "what's under the hood". It has nothing out at the moment that is special. Heavenly Sword and Resistance are very generic and boring. The online is free but the olnline games at the moment are scarce and quite yawn.
The 360 however is quite a safe reliable choice at the moment, it's fan base is huge and the variety of games would suggest the console is still going strong and will be for a long time. Seeing how this console has been out for a while it has a huge list of games and loads of different types. Although I think 90% of them can be quite boring at times. A lot of generic shooters, racers and beat em ups. Something I will compliment the console on is it's online. That comes with such a large fanbase though. Given time, other consoles could get that. Live! Arcade is pretty cool. Although what mainly supports it are the leaderboards and the online Co-Op.
I'm not biast Wii! I know it looks so, I just had more to say about that console. I do love the Wii though, I'm saving for a 360 at the moment. I will look into getting a PS3 later next Year.Last edited by SethSquall; 11-8-2007, 01:29 PM.Originally posted by TibsI love you, you Welsh ****Comment

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
Undefined? Just multiply it by zero.
By the way... how many people does anybody know brag about having a PS3? I know 1. Now how many people do you know brag about having a 360? Too many to count.
PS: The person that I know who brags about having a PS3, also has a 360.Comment

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
Just get the 360. It's a system with mainly FPS games, and online is amazing, almost lag-free. I would've told you to get the Wii, but I can see that you don't want to.
And PS3 DOES have the same graphics as the 360. I compared it with my friend's PS3 and my 360, and we both saw no differenve in graphics. Plus, Xbox 360 has a 120gb hard drive now if buy the elite version. Also has HDMI.Comment

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
Depends on what kind of tv you got, ps3 also has HDMI, and usualy, when u go from xbox to ps3 the graphics seem the same, but when u go from ps3 to xbox, u see the differencesJust get the 360. sorry but after you said: "if you're going to spew bias, there's no reason to post at all." It seemed a little hypocritical.
also contrery to popular belief the ps3 does have games for it, many of which are apriciated.Comment

Re: What Counsel Should I Get?
Graphics are an important factor but not even close to the importance of gameplay. Also I've owned a Gamecube and I found the games that usually come out for Nintendo don't appeal to me. Also I don't look at reviews because that's all personal opinion.PS: you are an idiot if you think that graphics is more important than good gameplay.
And also, you hate the wii becasue you are impatient, none of the best games are out yet.
Another thing, Super Mario Galaxy uses the Wii remote, and Gametrailers gave the gameplay part of the review 10/10.
I'm not buying two systemsgo for the 360 for now and the ps3 later when better games are released. i had a wii for awhile but then sold it. people were saying i should have kept it for brawl but i suck at smash. as for the ps3, ill buy it when final fantasy 13 and other great games are released.
1. The graphics aren't horrible but havn't advanced much from Gamecube. The other two system have far better graphics.@Fido: Your reasons for not liking Wii are retarded. 2. My friend has one and I don't find the remote all that entertaining...I was half serious about the moving thing but I seriously don't really like it very much.
3. I own a Gamecube and I honestly hate the games. First of all no DDR and second of all they systems are geared for younger audiences. I am also really only buying a system for online play which I hear the wii isn't so great at because the games really aren't that good for multilayer (SSB Brawl...can't argue with that)Last edited by fido123; 11-8-2007, 03:21 PM.Comment
