For me seeing King Dedede as a character really suprised me. I completely forgot about him since the recent kirby games I've played (Melee being the only one) didn't have him in it. He does seem like a good character to add to the fray, unlike Sonic.

Actually Sonic seems more of a more wanted character on Brawl rather than some fruity looking character from the nearly forgotten Kirby series. I wonder what his final smash is, A barrage of hammers or a swarm of Waddle-Dee's? Anyway far as I can tell about Sonic's final smash is based off the video of him being shown as a newcomer when he becomes SuperSonic. Adding another heavy character and actually having someone play with them is just another reason why that loser needs to get owned.

I never said he would BE a good character, just that he is a nice addition.

Has anybody noticed that all the unlockable characters haven't been announced yet? That makes me anxious.

Yeah I've noticed that too. I mean on the previous one, they had I think 29 right? Well so far I believe they've only shown I think more than 20 so far idk. But I'm really eager to see how more of the stages are. I want to know how the terrain is so I'll know what to expect when the time comes. *For example New Pork City has a chimera that'll knock you off the stage in 1 hit.*

I want more music updates!

There hasn't been a music update for a while, so I'm betting that's what tomorrow's update will be. Normally it is a character update on Friday's, but would they really have 2 characters 2 days in a row?

i've always liked that sort of thing... Like in perfect dark with the extra missions. Anyway, Sonics smash was shown in one of the features on gamespot.. it is supersonic. i didn't think Dedede would be in it.. i haven't thought about Dedede at all in years lol. i really want tails in.. i always liked him more than sonic on Sega.

Tails would get his ass whooped. He was just in a way too dependent on Sonic in the past Sonic games. I could see if they added Shadow, yeah that would be awesome, but Tails would be better off as an assist trophy instead.

Tails is almost certainly in as an AT; who else would you add for a Sonic AT?

Shadow's best chance is, in my opinion, an alternate costume for Sonic.

They better keep up the trend with unlocking Jigglypuff. If they don't, someone's getting beaten. That is all.

I'm really sick of seeing Jigglypuff because that is probably the most annoying pokemon to ever exist. I would hope they'd leave her out of this one because on previous games such as Smash Bros 64 and Melee, you really only had to beat the story mode with 1 character and most of the time that thing was unlocked. The only thing great about Jigglypuff is that rest technique but its hard to time that thing.

lol In Sonic 3 you could play through the whole game as sonic (and Sonic2, i believe)...how is that being dependent on sonic? :P But, i suppose if he's not playable an AT would be cool

i agree with you about jigglypuff, though. i always hated it in the cartoons.

I agree entirely. The rest technique needed perfect timing, and she failed in all other areas. I wouldn't mind seeing more people from Fire Emblem, and unfortunately, have heard that Marth won't be making another appearance (although it would be nice). Unless I'm assuming wrong. I also heard that Ike is slow

, which is a blow to my optimism. Hopefully he's not THAT slow, so it'll be easy to use him. ;P I think Pit's going to be pretty cool to use, as well.

Take out Pokemon Trainer, please, as well. :P
