You must not consider event 51 a boss then. That took forever before my friend beat it with peach, yes peach. Peach was not and still is not his best character, shiek is. His strategy was float above all 3 of them and kill Giga Bowser first, then take on mewtwo and c. falcon at the same time. I beat it a month later with jiggles because I looked it up on a couple websites.

Summarized: event 51 was NOT child's play.

Edit: I meant to type Ganondorf, not c. falcon. I'd change it but Zidart already quoted me on it. Also you can't blame me, I haven't played that event for a year now.

Just pick kirby or someone who can fake a fall near the edge of the stage and ganondorf will kill himself...and sometimes mewtwo kills himself a couple times. Then just down b the rest...so easy

Event 51 Is too childs play. I can beat it with every character excluding maybe 5 or 6.
The break the targets update is awesome if you like speed runs.

Event 51 is that one with Giga Bowser? If so just use Jigglypuff rest. lol Also finally since they revealed the break the targets mode maybe 2marro we will finally see captain falcon!

well i guess people don't need to use youtube anymore... if you wanna show off jsut send a video to your friends (or your rivals). though i found actions better than videos

The break the targets update is awesome if you like speed runs.

Keep in mind the game has been out for 6 years now. My point is the event is not child's play because I seriously doubt anybody, and I mean ANYBODY beat it their first time.

Well jeez, I can't. Mostly because I haven't done that event for the longest time, and because I don't have the game anymore. I borrowed it for a while from a friend, but she wanted it back. =[

well is possible to beat event 51 in the first try... i guess that if you have the correct character it is possible.

the first time i used sheik because i didn't know what the event was about and since i don't like using guides, it took me by suprise that there were 3 heavy characters, (but if i remember correctly i think they said it in the explanation wich i didn't read). then i tryed with marth, i was really close to do it, but i had to go my cousin house so i left the game. while i was at my cousin's house i was planning my strategy when it came to me... jigglypuff. besides giga bowser is the only problem the other 2 are i think lvl 8 or 7 computers i think even less... even though to make sure that i was not going to lose i evaded their attacks and used long distance items, it took me about 15 minutes.

now i play it and it takes me about 2 minutes. (now i don't evade and wait for items)

It took me 2 tries honestly at first to beat event 51 because I didn't know what the heck I was fighting other than Mewtwo and Ganondorf. But the fastest time I had was about 54.36 secs. Not really good far as my Melee standards. I'm gonna practice somemore.

I know but when I wanna kill my opponent as fast as I can, I rush so that wasn't really my best. The only reason why it took me that long is because right when I got Giga-Bowser to 123% damage, he KO'ed me into a star and that slacked me off. Mewtwo and Ganondorf were just easy pickings.
