i mean resistance, sorry i confuse weight with mario kart sometimes XD
sheik can be sent flying with just 80%
marth with just 130% or 150%
and samus and mario i usually hold until 190% or something like that but you have got to admit that sheik doesnt have a lot of resistance, and marth just has a little more
resistance..? The only thing that will resist you is DI. If you have 120% with sheik or marth and I up smash with fox. Your going to die.

I think they're talking about Hyrule Temple, down in the cave area...so the percentages they stated are legit if that's what they meant. Otherwise...yeah...living past 100% against anyone usually means you're DIing correctly.
Weight and float are what you want to keep in mind. Weight determines how far a character will fly after a hit. Float determines how fast the character will fall. Bowser, having no float, will fall quickly, but Ganondorf, having a crazy amount of float for his weight, will make him seem lighter than he is once he's in the air.
This is a little off-topic, but all that stuff that was posted today reminded me of the throws. Remember back in SSB when somebody could throw somebody else and they would go flying? (especially with C. Falcon) I hated how they "toned-down" the throws in Melee. Of couse now you can punch people while you hold them, but you can only get about 1 hit and then you can't throw them because whenever somebody's grabbed they just button mash until they're free. I'm hoping that the grabbing/throwing is more powerful in Brawl than Melee.

mario and ness have very good throws.... however not as strong as the first super smash.
as for dying with the up smash with fox.... well you'll have to do it before i do a counter attack...and oh boy i can honestly say that when things get difficult i get defensive.
however i can't say that i am better than you (or anyone else in this forum) because i haven't played with any of you to know for sure. but well i'll just wait for brawl.
On the topic of throws, based on Gimpyfish's E For All reports, throws are similar to their Melee versions; not too much damage, not too much knockback (with exceptions like Peach's Fthrow). Mario appears to be able to chaingrab with his dthrow, and there's one other character (I think Pikachu?) that can pseudo-chaingrab. Due to the increased floatiness of pretty much all characters in Brawl, chaingrabbing has been made more difficult.
Well then... if you're going to say someone is the best at something, define it properly. There are so many aspects of life. If someone is really good at running, you don't say they're the best human, the best soccer player, the best quarterback. You say they're really good at running.
MLG players are good at one-on-one fighting. I can't say that's all they're good at, but seeing as that's all they're willing to share, I have no frame of reference to say otherwise.
I got to play against Azen, PC Chris, M2K, Chillin, G-Reg, ChuDat, and some other pros. I can garuntee that they are good at all aspects of the game. ALL.

The stage looks interesting to play on, perhaps fun (I say this because I don't know how smoothly the transitions between each drawing is made), though I can see the stage getting highly annoying.
I mean its kinda weird in a way because pictochat is an application that I think people hardly ever use, then the fact that they are using the Wii Shop Channel music along with the Mii Channel. I know Nintendo is known for creativity but this is has been the second surpise that I've gotten from them since they added the WarioWare stage on it.
My Wii Number is :1400 3149 4401 2038 add me.
If practice makes perfect, but no one has reached perfection, then why the hell practice?
