Also, please don't tell me about what I know and don't know. I've played with TheDoug, O-NO, Tope, and other well known east coast players so I know what I'm talking about. Please stop trying to act as if you are an all knowing guru of SSBM Rawr. It's annoying and ignorant. Also last time I checked Ken was from Japan.

Because brawl is coming out. Same reason HALO 2 IS NO LONGER IN IT. Last big halo 2 mlg was last weekend.Also when did I say Im all knowing? The only characters I really know are sheik and peach. Double p. My bad

All characters have some sort of advantage over another character. Yoshi isn't bad, just most characters have a key advantage over him.

that's the only thing i agree with you so far..... every character (even pichu) has certain advantages over others, and i wouldn't understimate yoshi either.

good game. I never said yoshi was top tier or anywhere near it. I said all characters were good if you know how to use them and you just helped me prove it with that video. Pichu is lowest on tier list I believe

i belive TRUE super smash bros player should be able to win in any stage(from final destination to the floating pokemons), items or without them(i have to admit this), and with any character (from pichu to whoever you think is the strongest) .but of course without the use of glitches

I think Mewtwo is lower than Pichu actually, but regardless, he's still damn low on the list >.< (such a fun character to play, lmao).

My main point was to just say that all characters are good, but the advantages that characters over each other are what makes the tier list. All are good, but in comparison to others, some are bad =/.


I'd say the most all-around smash player (in MLG) is Azen. That guy freaking plays everyone, and plays 'em all well @_@. And he's bad@$$ in teams.

yep that's what i meant..... although i'm not funnly all-round ,since there are some characters that heck i can't or i don't like to play with... i always try ti play with different ones in friendly battles to make the game more fun, i get bored of playing with marth all the time (my favorite character).

usually when i was going to play a little tournament with my friends and cousins we just let the characters get selected randomly (you know in tournament mode), that's how i discovered how good mario (also samus, link, mr game and watch, sheik, captain falcon, peach, mewtwo, and roy) can be. of course i sometimes lost but that's the best way to try and learn more about other characters....maybe we should do something like this in brawl (you know with all these new characters and everything)

I agree with you, though. I can't acknowledge a person as being good at a game after seeing one thing they can do. Wow, you can dominate using your favorite character on your favorite stage with your set of rules. Can you dominate using a random character on a random stage with random rules at any given time? If not, then you're not good at the game.

When I play against others, I click on the random spot for character selection and let them choose the stage and rules. And like I said, I still haven't lost a match like this.

I'll do it for Brawl too. Once I get used to it and all, of course.
